    Thank You! This is definitely one of my personal favorites, and one of the first lenses I wrote after joining Squidoo. Completely agree on the book/band issue, lol!

    I grew up with people asking me if I was 'related to the book', now people ask me about the band, What has happened to us?

    You really must see the Ronald Coleman older version of the movie.

    When I taught sociology in college I used to use Lewis' books to read to illustrate the concepts. He was a brilliant sociologist.

    Oh, and lensrolled to Born to Be Angelic because this is Angel Blessed!

    I have a first edition Sinclair Lewis hard back "The Innocents". It is signed By Sinclair and his wife. Where can I go to find the value and a buyer?

    I read Mainstreet in College, but haven't looked at him since. I definitely am though. I'm going to stick "It Can't Happen Here" on my to read list. Too scary!

    Wonderful tribute to this author. Sinclair Lewis is sadly under-appreciated in today's education.

    One complaint with your lens. How can you expect anyone to choose a favorite among those five great books?

    I remember the good old days when we would say our name was Arrowsmith and people would ask about the book. Now they ask about some band. Oh well,

    But thank you for bringing him to light, especially the lesser known "It Can't Happen Here"

    This is one of only two or three lenses with a very long text module to keep my attention all the way through the module. Excellent! Your bio piece on Lewis ran like a freight train going downhill. Thank you.

    Very nice lens. I agree with you about first editions and antique books. I have a few in the 100-year-old range, but keep them behind glass most of the time. Great to have you here at Squidoo!
