Slot Cars - Pull The Trigger

I started slot car racing when I was 5 years old. I had an old Aurora race track with a couple of race cars. Back then slot car race tracks were much harder to put together and required regular maintenance. Today the electric slot car race tracks have evolved two fold. The tracks can be quickly snapped together, and the layouts are unbelievable. Some race tracks even defy gravity by running up the walls.

Not too mention the choices of tracks is mind boggling. There are Nascar sets, street cars, indy cars, you name it. Even the selection of individual cars has been expanded tremendously. You can get almost any kind of slot car you can think of today:Porshe, Lamborghini, Trucks, Motorcycles, Cop Cars, Nascars, etc...

Slot car racing has even become a sanctioned sport for enthusiast. There are regular competitions or events. Racers come from all over to compete against one another. The stakes are low but the fun is extremely high.
