Many of the Mothers we work with want to throw the Perfect Slumber Party for their Perfect Princess but feel that they are lacking either the creativity or the time involved to run around shopping for all of the necessities or in some cases both.

Have you ever watched your daughter play and just wished for an ounce of her energy? On Slumber Party night all of that energy times six will be bouncing off the walls of your house. Believe it or not children do like structure and will welcome an agenda for the night. It is a great idea to announce to the girls once they arrive and get a bit settled what that agenda is. This way they will know what to expect and what is expected from them.

Does the thought of having a group of squealing, giggling precious slumber party divas cooped up in your house all night long scare the living daylights out of you? Don't worry; you can still host a Rockin' Slumber Party - Road Trip Style.

I have listed a few Road Trip ideas to consider before your next Slumber Party:

Take the girls to late night disco bowling

Take the girls on a scavenger hunt hitting the houses of all the little boys in class that your daughters are soooo in love with.

Take the Girls Roller Skating

After the girls do their glam makeovers, pile in the car and head to the local ice cream shop.

If the girls promise to keep the volume at a minimum, drive to the nearest Starbucks for hot chocolate (caffeine loaded mochas are the last thing you will want to give these party divas) and a game of truth or dare. Watch how embarrassed the girls will get when they are dared to stand on one foot and sing "I'm a little Tea Pot" in front of a crowd of coffee drinkers. Again%u2026..volume at a minimum is a must so as not to upset other customers.

Drive to dinner at a Magic Time Machine or similar character restaurant

Take the girls to a late night Nail Shop for a basic Manicure or Pedicure

After dark, head to the local park and spread out a blanket and tell ghost stories by candle light. Really want to spook 'em? Do this in a cemetery. This is only recommended for older girls. The last thing you want is a group of party girls crying in the middle of the night with nightmares.

Live near the beach? Take the girls to the beach for a castle making contest by moonlight.

Don't have a pool but have a friend that does? Ask if you can use their private pool and take the girls for a swim fest after dark.

Wish it was warm enough for a swim in the pool but instead of sunshine and warm temperatures you have chilly weather and snow? Fantastic, take the girls to the local park for a moonlight snowball fight or for a little snow-woman making. They will be so ready for their Hot Girls Cocoa after this adventure!

With a great Club Z Slumber Party, all of the RSVP's are sure to be positive. Start your party with a little bite to eat of our Club Z Snazzy Snack Mix which includes a mixture of healthy and indulgent sweet and savory white chocolate, milk chocolate and peanut butter chips, golden raisins, cranberries, almonds, peanuts and cashews.

Why go to the trouble of buying a fancy Birthday cake when Cupcakes are all the rage in Hollywood? Your daughter and her friends will absolutely love the opportunity to decorate their own Club Z Cutie Pie Cupcakes with icing and toppings. You can choose to allow all the girls a chance to blow out a candle and make a wish or group all of the artwork masterpiece cupcakes together to let your daughter blow out her candles. Either way, it's sure to be a fantastic photo-op.

When you were a little young toddler Diva did you have a binki blanket also known as your lifeline to dreamland? You know the blanket I'm talking about. It is frayed at the edges and has holes in it and at one point in your life you were unable to even think about sleeping with out it. Well if you are still dependent on your special blanket, it's time to get rid of it and make a new one. If you have long since put your blanket on the top shelf of the closet, bring back those good old days with this Slumber Party No Sew Blanket.

Your slumber party girls will absolutely love this fun craft and treasure their special blanket. You will need to do some pre-work before the girls get started on the project.

First take a trip to your local super store or fabric craft store and take a walk through the fleece fabric selection. You will want to look for two types of fleece; one in a fun and sassy print and the other in a coordinating color solid. Have the store assistant cut you 1 yard of each type of fleece for each girl at your party.

When you get home lay the two pieces together on a table or even on the floor. You may need to trim the edges to make sure that the two pieces are exactly the same size. Now that this is done, cut out the corners of the blanket by cutting strait down the material and not strait across. Now turn the radio on or your favorite television show and get ready for just a bit of busy work. You will now need to make two inch cuts about 1 inch apart. This does not have to be perfect by any means just try and keep the cuts equal width and equal length. Round up a handful of safely clips and clip at all four corners keeping the two pieces of fleece together.

The night of the big slumber party when the girls are in the mood to gab or even watch a movie, pull out the blankets and let the girls finish the project. This is best done with the girls sitting on the floor. Lay each pre-cut blanket out in front of each girl. Have each girl grab a strip from the bottom fleece and a strip from the top fleece and tie into a knot. Now, have them tie in another knot. Have the girls tie the two knots all the way around the blanket and whallll-la. a new binky for each girl to snuggle with.

One of my slumber party secrets is that I have always wanted to go to Hollywood to see the sights and pretend for just one day that I am a Hollywood Diva. I want the lights, the cameras and of course the action. If you have your own wanna-be superstar with an upcoming birthday, why not throw a Hollywood Star Slumber Party Theme?

Let's start with the Invitations. You could have the invitation as a cut out Oscar award or an old fashion movie camera. A fun invitation will set the tone for the Hollywood Slumber Party. Be sure to request in the invite that the Party Girls come dressed in their Hollywood party best. Think Gorgeous! Think Fabulous!

With a fun night planned, the RSVP's are sure to be positive and you need to prepare yourself of a houseful of Hollywood Divas. Think of your Slumber Party as the Premier to the next year of life. How exciting!

What would a Hollywood premier be without a red carpet? It just wouldn't be right! With this in mind ,you will want to line your walkway or your entrance with red felt for a dramatic red carpet Hollywood effect. If you really want to go all out, have family and friends stand outside with cameras to take pictures as each girl walks up to your home. You could even have a big sister or an adult girl-friend with a microphone stopping the girls as they walk up to the house and asking for interviews. They could for instance, ask the girls: What they are most looking forward to at the slumber party? What they love most about the Birthday Girl? If they were allowed to bring a date, who would they have brought? For the full affect, have someone film the interviews. You can always turn the footage into great mementos to give the party girls on CD.

You will of course want to give your Birthday Girl a special gift. How about a Special Diva Directors Chair? Go all out and have her name painted in a fun color or glitter. If you are smart, you will get a color scheme to match her bedroom so she can enjoy the gift not only at the Hollywood Slumber party but also for years to come.

You just can't have a slumber party without an uber cool craft. Stick with the theme of Hollywood and decorate cardboard clapboards. (You know, black and white stripes%u2026someone shouting, "Scene 1; Take 3).

The last slumber party I hosted, the group was rather large. Though it doesn't happen often, I really stressed about the Slumber Party games. For instance, how many to have planned and more importantly which ones to play. Everything turned out wonderful and all the games were a huge success. What really surprised me was that the DING%u2026.Time's Up - Slumber Party Game was the only game that the girls woke up the next morning asking to play. Who would've thought?

The game is really very simpl. Grab your egg timer and have all of the girls leave the room. Now while the girls are not looking, set the egg timer for a certain time and hide it. If you think it's a fairly easy to find hiding place, set the timer for just a few minutes. If you think the hiding place might be a bit more difficult to find, give the girls a few more minutes on the timer. Now have the girls come back into the room and try to find the timer. After round one of the game, the girls can alternate who gets to hide the timer.

Note: Be sure that you child proofed any drawers, cabinets and baskets. Also make sure that any dust bunnies that might be lurking in the shadows are swept up. You will be amazed at the crazy places these girls will want to look for the egg timer.
