Snowbirds; When Is It is Time to Travel South to Arizona?

Snowbird Travel Season

Just as Jack Frost begins nipping at your nose, it reminds us of the long winter that awaits. It is also a migratory signal to start packing and begin heading to warmer climates. For those escapees there is a name; they are called Snowbirds.

Migrate- to move periodically from one region or climate to another, as (snow)birds or fish. ~ Webster's Dictionary

So where do snowbirds migrate?
Since snowbirds dislike the bitter cold of winter, the obvious answer is "where it's warm and sunny!" Arizona is one such beautiful option.

How fun is this? I've got lots of friends in Arizona and usually make it down there once each winter but I do not consider myself a snowbird...I can't stay in one place long enough, I think. Very cute lens. Love the bumper stickers and I have to say that I've experienced #8 a couple of times! Did you know there is no #4?

Dutch birds have been having a hard time. It's been 12 years since the last cold winter - and apparently the birds forgot to migrate! So the bird shelters have been full with freezing birds...

Anyhow, congrats on becoming one of the new giant squids :)
