Snowies: The Most Beautiful Birds in the Arctic
Snowy Owls, also knows as Snowies, Arctic Owls or Great White Owls are the species Bubo scandiacus (formerly Nyctea scandiaca). These white arctic birds are some of nature's most beautiful and graceful creatures.
I have always love the majestic beauty of the snowy owl. I've never been lucky enough to see one myself in the wild, but I think that would be an amazing experience.
