Social Networks are a majot part of Web 2.0.

It's a place where people hang out online. A community of like minded people sharing information, ideas, help, and fun.

One of the first ones on the Internet was a Social Network called Friendster. Not long afterwards came MySpace and then Facebook.

Everybody likes to customize the Profile Page. The put photos,poems, thoughts, jokes, videos, etc.

Since these Social Networks offer a free membership, they have to generate revenue somehow. They did that by offering advertising space to advertisers.

Lately, there's been a new trend...

With the early Social Netwoks, they were keeping all the advertising revenue to themselves.

Some new Social Networks sprung up that offered to share the revenue with their members. Some of the populat ones are Yuwie, RFN, and NaRpLe.

They share in the Google Adsense revene as well as banner and text ads. If you see something interesting, go ahead and click on it. Just don't go crazy clicking. Some people gave the idea that they will make more wenever they click an ad. It makes no difference if you click an ad or not. In fact, if you click on too many ads, you might lose your membership and any money you have coming to you.

Invite your friends. You will also get a bigger share of the revenue.

If you're inviting friends just to make more money, then you aren't a genuine friend.

To get the most out of Social Networking, you need to build your downline in multiple Social Networks. This has always been a problem for most people.

Do you like to listen to music while you're in your social network?

Do you like to listen to Web Radio?

There are radio stations on the internet that you can listen to for free. Mt favorite statiion is Virgin Radio Classic Rock.

I ran across a new service that pays you to listen to the radio. It doesn't pay much but, every little bit helps. Again, they offer a referral program.

Most of the social networks allow you to place banner and text ads on your Profile Page. People with check out your profile to find out more about you.

Be tastefull. You don't want your Profile Page to look trashy.

Get traffic to your profile page by becoming active in the community. You'll be surprised how many friend requests you'll get by simply becoming active.

Find an interesting post and leave a comment. Some communities post a list of new members and/or member's birthdays. Leave a comment on the new member's profile page welcoming them to the community. When a member has a birthday, leave a birthday wish on their profile page.

Some social networks even give you credit when you upload photos.

Be choosy when approving friend requests. You're choosy when choosing friends offline, aren't you? Choosing friends online should be no different.

Don't be afraid to drop a friend from you friend's list.

The rule of eights is simple, yet poerful.

It's simple. You interview people to find eight people you want to work with. Thes eight people will be your managers. Don't worry, it's easier than you think.

Our Team uses this system to put money in our downline's family budget.

The 8x8 formula is simple. Find 8 mangers and hem them to find their 8 managers. It's just a mechanical process. All the recruiting is done automatically.

Here are the steps:

1] You're going to need a URL roator to rotate all your mangers through the system to help them find their 8 mangers. If you don't currently have a URL rotator, find one in the Resources section further down this page.

2] You'll need an automated advertising system to provide traffic to your rotating URL's. There are both FREE and Paid advertising sources I use in the Resources section.

Now, wasn't that easy?

Brainstorm some headlines for your ads.

After you have a list of at least 100 headlines, you're ready to start testing. Use Free Traffic Bar ,found in Resources.

Pick 2 headlines from your list.

Create 2 cloaked URL's using your ViralURL.

Create a new ad in your FTB. For the destination URL, use one of your cloaked URL's.

Repeat using your second ad, second URL.

Now, wait for 600 Shows before you compare the results. Compare the CTR of the 2 ads. Delete the one with the lowest results and keep the best one as your 'control'.

Copy the Headline and URL information for that control ad in a text file. You'll be needing it shortly.

Now, delete the other ad. Don't worry, you saved that information to a text file, right?

That's how you zero the stats for both headlines.

Now, pick another headline and test it against your control headline. The object is always to beat the control headline. Just keep repeating the process until you tested all 100 headlines and then brainstorm for more headlines.

Keep testing new headlines, NEVER STOP.

How many of those paid programs have you joined that you really couldn't afford? Wouldn't it be easier if the cost was irrelevent? You'd probably be more willing to test something new to you if you didn't worry about the cost. I may have a solution for you.

I'm looking for a few to test this rule. For those that participate, I will show you the results from this test.

It's really simple to participate. I set up one of the links in the Resources section as a rotaing link. At this point in time, it doesn't matter which one is the rorating link because they all will be rotating links eventuall.

The point ia, start helping your first level in the network you are currently building by using your own url rotator with your URL in one of the spots and each one that you are helping in the other spots in your URL rotator.

Now, whenever and wherever you advertise, use the rotating URL as the destination URL in your ad(s).

Are your ads working? Are you sure?

It's important to track your ads.

Even if you post free ads, they still require time. And time is money.

You could track those ads by using one of the many ad trackers available online, but each ad would require a different URL for each ad that you're tracking. I found a way to track each ad to find out where the traffic is coming from. It can all be done with ONE URL. Plus, your URL is cloaked. Each URL in your rotator will be cloaked. The service is free and there's no limit on the URL's you can cloak and track. Check out ViralURL in the Resources section.

This is so simple. I'll explain every step so that you can do it as you're reading this. Ready to start? OK, let's go.

Scroll down until you see the Resources section. Click on URL Rotator. Get signed up begore hoing to the next step.

Why URL Rotator and not PageSwirl? With URL Rotator, you can have multiple rotators with unlimited URL's in each rotator. What this means is that you can use a rotator for each network that you want to build. So, for instamce, let's say that you have a Yuwie account and a ViralURL account that you would like to build enough to get a residual monthly income. You would set up 2 rotators. One for Yuwie and one for ViralURL. In each rotator you will enter your referral link.

Now, every time you get a signup for that network, just add their rotating URL. Why their rotating URL program they are promoting and not their referral link for that network? Because you will never have to about maintaining your network. As long as your downline uses a rotator.

Next, get signed up for ViralURL (found in Resources). That link is on a rotator so that your ViralURL downline will be built for you.

A word about ViralURL's opt-in list builder will build a large opt-in list. Don't abuse it. If you're constantly sending offers to your list, they will either leave, or filter all your messages to their trash.

To build your list, simply make at least 90% of your messages to you list helpful hints to help them build their own list.

You want that list to increase to more than 30,000, don't you?

Of course you do and it's so simple. Just set up your rotator and cloak it so that you can track where your advertising is working and where it isn't working.

You'll also be building your opt-in list automatically.

The best way to build your list is to let them know of tests that you've run with results so that it will help them improve their advertising.

A simple way to advertise is in your email and your forum postings. Create a signature for both your email and either the same one or different one for each Forum that you participate in. Share the signatures you've used in the past that have had good results.

Why posting in Forums is so effective. Your post will stay on the forums for a long time. If it's an active thread, you will see results from that sig for a long time. There is a right and wrong to post in forums.

Post a reply to someone asking a question or ask one yourself. Don't post a reply with no useful content in your reply. Post "Me too" and other useless postings will get you banned in most Forums.

Forget about your sig when posting in Forums.

Follow that simple rule and you won't have to worry. Search for Forums with an interest of your's.
