I've been a musician for a couple of decades now, but over the last one I've been turning more toward electronic music, mostly because I find it fun to create, and interesting to listen to. Lately, I have been taking a minimalistic approach (trying to use few resources to create many sounds).
Our backstory
Soul Object began under a different name around 1997 as a forum for music I created in junior college, and it just grew little by little after that. Before those days, I was mainly a Metal-Head, having played in several bands in and around Orange County, California, but experience working at Tower Records enhanced and fed my already diverse taste in music, and eventually led me to explore the ground I dwell upon now.

This video is a whimsical satire playing to the soundtrack of one of my latest creations. It is entitled "Rolling Wheel." The video portion is about a young girl named Sue who meets and overcomes various menaces by chopping off heads with her ridiculously long sword (most of the time) hence the title "Chop Sue" for the cartoon.
