Wonderful SoCal

Southern California is a wonderful place, full of little known and well known places that everyone should visit and enjoy. The Southern part of California is not all just beaches! There are deserts and mountains and even a national forest in there. Since I've traveled the area extensively and was born and raised in Southern California, I thought I'd share some of the great places in Southern California, or SoCal, with you.

Rhyolite is actually in Nevada, but since it's right on the border and most people visit it while visiting Death Valley National Park on the other side of the border in California, I included it here.

    I was actually planning for the future @grannysage. I have many more lenses planned that will also be set in Southern California, especially since I was born and raised in the San Diego area.

    I was confused by the title because to me Southern California is the LA, San Diego area. I lived in San Diego for 10 years and there are lot of really cool places to visit there. You had a lot of really interesting places here, but you might want to rename it, Interesting Places In and Around Death Valley.

    I still like your pictures!
