There is nothing on earth like a Buddy Soul Mate Relationship. It is the ultimate, just like in dreams or the movies.

Words can't convey this level of peace, sense of connection and acceptance shared between two people. It really is like living a dream.

The journey to find your Buddy Soul Mate is a very special one where you will learn how to open and connect freely, heal all of your fears of love and relationships, and get ready for the best fun ever. Playing the game of life with a best friend. Your one and only Buddy.

And then you'll know the answers to all of the questions you now have, because you will come from a deep sense of inner confidence, knowing and happiness, and not this confusing energy you now think everything is based on that stops you from thinking straight.

The topic of Soul Mates can seem 'out there' to many people, just like it was to me when I began this adventure, therefore I approach it in a very grounded manner so it is easy for you to relate it to yourself and see how you can accomplish your dream in a very practical way.

What is a Buddy Soul Mate? 

When I began my investigation of love I had no concept of connections, energy, Soul Mates, or spirit. I had no concepts at all beyond my desire to find love and the pain I was feeling. I decided to start with a clean slate and let this journey tell me the answers as I went along.

What you read below was written at the very end when all the pieces were coming together. So please read it with an open mind and listen to see if it feels right, even if it doesn't make sense to you now. If you decide to undertake this journey, you will create your own beliefs about yourself, life, the world and your place in it.

Imagine yourself as spirit, what it might have been like floating around in energy, without a care in the world. Happiness, enjoyment, just being your innate self. This beautiful sense of self is felt sometimes, when we are totally relaxed and comfortable in our environment, perhaps when helping another so there is no focus on our own fears and worries. It is easy, simple, pleasant just being.

While this self was quite happy and enjoying being itself, it wanted company, someone to play with, explore with, an equal same mind. So it split and voila, an instant friend with all the same innate qualities.

Because it was a double of itself, there were no conflicts with the other at all. It became a beautiful friendship of open caring, sharing, playing and being. A best friend to travel the ethers with.

Bringing that back into this physical world, sometimes we meet a person of the opposite gender who we feel an ease with like no other. An instant buddy and best friend. The connection awakens our desire and need to become and express that inner self, hidden until now. It feels as if we are free to be ourselves for the first time ever.

There is no doubt or fear of this person, we know they love and accept us totally for who we are, we don't have to prove ourselves, or question our self worth. There are none of the usual triggering fears at all. This relationship is based on pure and open acceptance, and the complete joy at finding our best buddy. A like mind to explore life with.

With every contact our inner excitement grows, each triggering the other to reach a deeper level of being able to open and express the self more fully. Because we have similar likes, each triggers stimulation and expansion of these. For example my buddy stimulates my thought processes, intellect, writing and channeling abilities. We feed and stimulate each other.

The inner excitement and joy of finding and being with a person with whom we are totally free to just be the self we have always longed to be, is incredible. As though life only feels real when we are with them, because that is the only time we are truly being ourselves. Finally we are free to be and do and express what flows from within, and delight at feeling and being ourselves.

Visions, feelings, and energies all serve to open awareness to what could become from such a relationship. It truly has the potential of becoming an amazing one.

The sense of this person being ourselves is also intense, as is the compassion, understanding, caring, and desire to do and be all that is in their best interests. Feeling as if for the first time a desire to do that which is in our own best interests, to help ourselves become all that we can be.

Relationship success involves open and free communication and sharing, coming together as a team, to explore, be, grow and live life to the fullest. Two singular minds become one greater mind, stimulating potentially wondrous impacts on both their lives.

This form of connection is strong, just like the other half connection, so the pull to connect and become one is intense. I think somehow, this is the closest connection we have.

Yet, it is a connection, so it does come with triggers for personal resolution, to enable it to grow and become a way of life. Both people must be open and desire this form of connection to begin with. It must match their life path and stage of growth. They must both be able and willing to develop it, as a relationship.

What if one of the two has a deep fear of actually connecting, that there is no-one who would or could have any need, desire or want to connect with them? Complete connection, which is natural within this relationship, would surely trigger this fear.

The team must bond and see all obstacles as a third party, having no relevance to the actual connection, enabling them to work together in healing and clearing fears, for the good of the two.

This intuitive path led me deep inside to heal all of my fears, and learn all about love, relationships, the sexes, dating game, and much more, then across the world from Australia to America.

People think that it's all about love, and if you find someone that loves you and whom you can love then everything will be perfect.

But you know there has to be more to it than that.

So, let's start at the beginning.



1. Is this the right type of relationship for you?

We decide things every day, but this is a different type of decision. It will take you from the sadness of wanting Love and your Soul Mate to the determination and confidence that comes from Knowing that you are going to get it.

Because this decision has to come from a genuine feeling deep inside you, I have included the steps to build the desire, so you can form this decision.

2. Create an Ongoing Connection with your Buddy

At first it feels really strange to call out, and build a relationship with space, but as you persist and become more comfortable with it, you'll start to feel him or her, have conversations, and much more.


3. Get Yourself Ready Emotionally

Buddy Soul Mate connections are open and free. It feels like you 'came home' and are totally safe to let this person know you fully.

What is Connecting 

The following simple exercise is specifically set up to bypass obstacles and stimulate facilitators, so you can experience connecting as simply and easily as possible. This will enable you to have a clear understanding of the base concept and experience, from which to build upon.

Organize it so you can have 15 minutes totally private and uninterrupted time. Shut your door, tell the family, take the phone of the hook. Then lie down beside your dog, cat or even young child. Get yourself very comfortable and relax your body, let go of all your daily thoughts and focus completely on this life form lying beside you.

Use your hands to softly stroke and caress its head, body. Slow your breathing down and relax even further. Watch this beings reaction to your attention, their looking at you, showing pleasure, giving you their full attention. Reciprocate.

Spend 15 full minutes participating in this tactile form of communication, whereby the rest of the world vanishes from all your thoughts and feelings. Notice how you feel, the warmth in your chest, a smile, love energy. Be very aware of all responses given to you.

Did you feel a bonding, a closeness? Connected to this beautiful life form? Did you notice things about them, not seen before? What about yourself, did you feel your own energy and relaxation mode, and how you seemed to join with them totally?

That my friend is connecting. Pure and simple. It sparks a life force energy within us, which grows each time we connect.

Notice how you feel for the rest of this day, your mood, attitude, enjoyment and achievements.

The Opposite of Connecting 

Now we will set up a situation to experience this side of the coin.

There are many circumstances that can be used for this exercise, so I will suggest several, then I am sure you will be able to think of the perfect one for yourself to use.

You slept in, but the dog has to be walked, the kids organized, not to mention getting yourself ready for work, in 30 minutes. The kids are tired and don't want to get up, then once up move very slowly. The dog is still barking to go out for his morning walk, and you're not showered yet.

It is end of the month time, and the boss is stressed because the invoices aren't finished and the bank balance is too low. He is pushing you continually, everyone in the office becomes more stressed, and then a customer telephones to complain.

A special event is scheduled for tonight. What will you wear? How can you hide these extra pounds you were going to loose? Your hair won't sit properly, and then you look at yourself in the mirror and sigh. How embarrassing. How will you face people? What will they think of you?

You come home to a huge pile of bills, and decide to balance your accounts. But the car repairs have eaten most of the month's income, and then you get a telephone call from a collection agency, demanding full payment today.

There will be some circumstance in your life where you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, unsure of yourself, perhaps scared or alone. It does not matter which you use for this exercise.

Think of an appropriate one now, before it happens, and plan to become more aware of your interactions and feelings during it. To use it to balance your understanding of connecting.

Afterwards, ponder the entire experience from all aspects. How were you feeling towards the other people involved? How well did each interaction go? Pleasant or uncomfortable? Notice the differences between this experience and the previous article's.

Can you now see how, even when we are slightly distracted by circumstances in our lives, the ability and quality of connecting with other people is affected? Even with those we love.

Can you now grasp the feeling of being dis-connected from people and the world and how you feel during it?

Why Don't We Connect? 

There is a special piece of ourselves, we keep hidden within. It is pure and loving and treasured. This aspect of us is our essence, our spirit, the beauty and magnificence that we are as a being, beyond earthly fears and beliefs.

We keep this inner aspect of ourselves hidden from the world. Safe and secure in the knowing that no-one can breach our walls and tell us we are not good enough, bad, don't deserve to exist, judge, condemn or even attack our person. Prevention of 'their' knowing who we really are, keeps us protected.

We often keep this inner part of us hidden from ourselves too. Safe and secure from our own judgment, condemnation, and abuse which is often far worse than any person outside could aim at us.

Basically, there is a special part of us hidden within, which feels no pain, no hurts, no fears, only peace and love. And the opposite of that part is our fears, worries, insecurities.

How could anyone feel comfortable opening to connect with another being while feeling any form of distress? As demonstrated by the second exercise.

How could anyone not feel comfortable opening to connect with another being while feeling their own inner essence? As demonstrated by the first exercise.

How Do We Bridge The Two States? 

I can fully understand your saying "But life IS stressful, we can't make that disappear. So how is it possible to even think of connecting?"

The answer to those thoughts lies in knowledge and understanding. Becoming fully aware of all forms of connections, what they really are, mean, and their impact, from the very distant and incidental, to the slightly closer contacts with acquaintances and friends, then even closer with children, family and lovers.

All human beings long to feel a sense of belonging, of being wanted and accepted in the world. Our level and ability with connections and connecting is determining factor.

Strong emotions and fears instantly close our ability to connect, but the more we work to heal them, the more we find ourselves open to connect more often, and filling with the life energy connecting brings.

Connecting is also a magical way to boost our energy levels.

Connection Fears 

The quickest and easiest way to clarify connections is with a visual, and physically drawing it yourself, rather than merely viewing a diagram, changes your understanding of it completely.

Fold a blank piece of paper in half, width ways, then draw a small circle in the middle of one side (leave the other side blank), now draw another 2" further out, and a third 2" further out again. The circles represent the 3 parts of each of us.

The inner most circle represents your inner self/spirit essence. Remember that sense of calm, peace and knowing that you have felt sometimes; when you smile and enjoy living and your fears seem to be forgotten. This peace of mind state we all aspire to reach comes from our spirit self.

The middle circle represents the veil; inner child/ego/subconscious part where our fears and beliefs are stored. Its base feeling is fear. Remember those times when you're scared, react and behave in ways that just don't make sense to you, and how you can feel 20 year old events as strongly now as you did when they happened all those years ago? Whenever we feel uncomfortable, fearful or unsure, we are feeling our subconscious fear beliefs, memories and emotions that are stored in this veil.

Lastly, the outer circle represents your conscious mind, the part you think and feel your everyday physical life with. Often it is this part which watches our own unexplainable behaviors with shock of where they come from.

It is this conscious mind part that is the physical life experiencer, yet that is all it can do, experience without control. The role of controller is undertaken by either the spirit essence or subconscious.

You can see how, for spirit essence influence to reach conscious mind, the veil must be crossed, therefore grasp an idea why people find it difficult to feel the calm and peaceful state of mind (from their spirit essence) they desire.

The basis of the inner work I undertook and share is healing and clearing the fearful beliefs that form this veil, to open ourselves to experience our spiritual essence of self in this physical world.

To clarify, use another pen color to replace small parts of the middle circle line, representing gaps of removed fears/blocks. Now you can draw lines directly from the inner circle (spirit essence) through the gaps, to the conscious mind.

The issues/sections cleared allow space for spirit essence to cross the veil and bring its peace regarding that issue into our conscious knowing. The more issues we clear, the greater impact spirit essence has on our conscious living experience.

That is why we can feel great peace and calm, then suddenly feel fearful and watch our lives fall apart. We have jumped from spirit essence control to subconscious mind control.

Just as we have an inner/spirit essence self that's base is comprised of love, peace and knowing, so too do ALL beings. We are ALL juggling between spirit essence and subconscious mind control over our conscious mind, as demonstrated in our everyday lives.

In a similar manner, as with our physical family, we also have a spirit family. A group of spirit essences we are bonded to, whose base is also love energy, therefore our bonds are based on love energy.

So, now draw 4 individually spaced out small circles on the blank side of the page, to represent some of our spirit family members, each representing one being. As you draw the circles, think of each being as one aspiring to reach this spirit essence control, just as you do. And as you draw the next outer circle think about how it represents the veil that is filled with fears and beliefs, then how the outer third circle, the conscious representation, is dependent on the other two for its experiences.

You can now gain a perspective of a group of beings, and the journeys, difficulties and experiences they undergo.

Each set of circles represents another being from your own bonded spirit family, so draw a line directly from each inner circle (inner/spirit essence) to your inner circle (inner/spirit essence). This represents 4 beings spiritually linked to you, with the base of this link being love essence, as that is all spirit is, Love.

But in the same way you have limited access to knowing and being controlled by your spirit essence, so do they. Hence, while the connections are bonded and strongly based on love, the conscious person's mind is unaware until spirit essence can reach through the veil to share this knowing.

Can you now see how you may have a being of the closest bonds right in front of your eyes, yet be totally unaware consciously? Can you also see how this might be the reasoning behind that sense of already knowing a person, or an instant closeness when first meeting? Can you also see how their fears and beliefs might effect their interactions with you, as yours do with them?

To clarify; extend the lines you drew from their inner circles to your inner circle, through the middle circles to the outer circles of each.

You should have 4 lines, beginning at your outer (conscious mind) circle, through your center circle (veil), into your smallest circle (inner/spirit essence), across to their smallest circle, then through their center circle to their outer circle.

This represents a connection. The ability for one spirit essence to connect with another spirit essence, then beyond that person's fears to their conscious mind and physical experience.

I know it sounds complicated, but it isn't really. Whenever you undertake any activity, just like the first exercise in the connection section where you feel pure love, such as holding a baby, or spending time with beloved pets, you allowed your spirit essence to share with your conscious mind, and create a physical experience, by moving beyond the fears that prevent it happening.

Connections are wondrous things, more special than I can convey in words. A family of beings with whom we share a special energy connection, it is our life force energy source. Because spirit's base is love energy, that is what we feel when connecting.

It is of a spiritual and energy nature, purity of the highest form, love at the greatest level, that reflection of part of ourselves we have searched and waited eons to be reunited with once more.

Yet, each essence of being comes with a physical entity, comprised of all the fears, beliefs and frailties that entails. Most often the exact opposite of that which we know and love them as.

I have always seen beyond the physical to their essence, always felt that attraction and want to connect, always felt pure love for them, and always known the confusion because I never understood this phenomena.

It is natural that we of close spiritual bonds should seek each other out and wish these forms of connections. It is natural that we should learn of them so we may bring them into and apply to this physical realm. It is natural that we desire the same depth of connection here as a human being.

This is why you feel the strong desire to connect and find love. It comes from your inner self, because it wants to live the love IT feels in the physical.

I have known many connections, watched the various levels and how they present themselves. Yet, whenever I come across one of those close ones, it saddens my heart like nothing else can.

This is because I know what they are. I know what they mean. And I know what both desire from that spiritual aspect.

It is not merely about love on the physical arena, it is far greater. It is about coming back and being together once again, as the pure essence manifest in the physical. It is about living and loving how we know it has always meant to be.

To know and feel these deepest connections, then watch their opposite intent manifest, can fill us with sadness and loss without any awareness of why. We do miss our friends so much, and wish to be with them, now and always.

Often without realizing, we experience energy sensations during all activities, so let us learn how to recognize, enjoy and benefit from using energy.

When you complete this chapter you will be able to:

Help other people feel better using all 3 energy types

Physical Energy

Activity - Feel Physical Energy

Hold the palms of your hands about 2" apart, close your eyes and feel. If you don't feel it now, try again when you are more relaxed. You might feel a tingling or heat or cool. Move your hands closer then further apart, feel the difference. Now, hold your hand over your arm or leg, can you feel warmth? What you feel is your body's natural energy field.

This type of energy is very special, it is nice to use it for dis-comfort or when near another in distress. When my son was little and had headaches I would tell him to feel the energy in his hands, then place one over the sore spot, it always removed his headache. He removed his headache with his own energy.

Building the skill and strengthening the feel of this energy is easily achieved with practice, no special learning or classes are required. Practice holding your hands apart, work to feel the energy stronger and stronger, to recognize feeling it, then as you progress you can move your hands further apart and begin to manipulate it. Make it into a ball, or change its shape, enlarge and surround your body with it, hold your hand over painful areas of your own or your friend's bodies. They will feel the heat and love you give them.

As you gradually become skilled with this energy, by playing and doing what feels right, you will find you can slowly move your hands along a body and feel differences, heat or cool, you will feel the need to hold your hand over certain areas, allowing your energy to be shared. This is Healing or Reiki. Enjoy this energy, enjoy discovering for yourself what it is, feels like, its power and uses.

Spiritual Energy

Another form of energy is what I call life force or spiritual energy. We can feel our own and others, as well as natures.

Activity - Feel Spiritual Energy

Think of something or someone you love deeply, close your eyes and feel the sensations in your body. It is very hard to describe I know, but can you feel warmth or some sensation throughout your body or in your chest area? Many people have this experience without understanding who or what is felt. It takes time and practice, but very well worth the effort.

There are several ways to grasp feeling this form of energy and building your recognition of it. When you pat your animal, close your eyes and feel, when you walk with nature do the same. The more you allow yourself to become one with the now moment, the easier and more often you will feel this. While showering, close your eyes and feel beyond the physical water, feel with your entire being, when you smile at a beautiful sunset, feel that smiles energy within you, when you pass a beautiful tree, touch and say hello to it, feel the trees energy, when you see your child sleeping, feel your love in your body. Enjoy feeling energy sensations within you.

We can use thought to share this energy with those we love. Sometimes when my son is unhappy or unwell, I close my eyes and quiet my thoughts, then picture him smiling and happy. This is my focus attention. I usually see him very differently with added weight and an older face. The love energy I feel for him magnifies as I keep seeing him happy and well. I feel the energy strongly in my body and it go to him. When loved ones are distressed the kindest thing we can do for them is feel love and send that, it is much more effective and better than pity. We do indeed see differences in them after this exercise.

Activity - Combine Physical and Spiritual Energy

Now you can begin to combine these two forms of energy. Place your hand on your animal, let yourself feel the heat from your hands, and think of the animal with love, feel the two energies combine and grow stronger. Watch the animal turn its head and smile at you, feel the animals love energy in return, for they certainly do feel yours.

What other ways can you find to combine the use of these energies?

Emotional Energy

Whatever we feel becomes an energy force. Just like as you feel love for an animal, that love energy radiates outwards from you. Remember that stage of romantic love, how you felt the energy bursting from your body, how it showed in your face and all that is you, how others noticed and commented as soon as they saw you? This is what I speak of.

If all our feelings become energy forces and are radiated outwards from our bodies, then our sadness, and anger and all the other emotions are sent out also.

Activity - Feel Emotional Energy

Would you rather send pity energy to a sick friend or love energy? Become aware of your energy feelings as you go about your days, notice how other people react to them. Notice how your family reacts the minute you walk in the door, well before you have said anything to show your mood. Or when you visit another's house or a grumpy child's bedroom, you can feel the mood in the air, and know whether they are happy or depressed.

Activity - Play With Energy

Spend time exploring each energy type in more depth. Write of your experiences, feelings, responses. Develop your own thoughts, concepts and favorite uses of energy. Share what you learn with family or friends.

Your Dream Relationship 

Finding your One Love is an entirely different concept to what people generally think and experience. I remember looking so hard, thinking that he will fix everything, and being so sad when I would continually meet the wrong people, or what I thought was the right one, and have to watch everything fall apart.

As you progress with your journey it will all become clear, but you can begin the process of creating your future relationship right now.

Go into your meditation space, then into your dreamtime (from Heal Your Heart by Janet Greene). If you haven't read the book, find a quiet space and let yourself calm, relax and float far away from the stress of your everyday life. Picture yourself living a dream relationship, where everything is perfect. You will automatically know all the components. Spend some time gathering a complete picture and noticing how you feel, then write about it.

Write the story of your dream relationship, what it feels like, all of it. Be as detailed as possible because this is the relationship you will be having.

Get to know it well, spend time having the experience of it while you are getting ready. You can spend time in this relationship when you go to bed each night.

Know what feels right; know it is yours, just waiting for you to get ready. Become determined that this is what you must have, and that you will not settle for anything less.

Connect with Your Buddy Soul Mate 

CONNECT

When you go to bed tonight talk to him/her, just like you would on the phone, but say the words in your head.

You might begin by introducing yourself, saying your name and what city you live in. Talk to him/her about your day, what's happening in your life. Tell him/her that you are getting ready so to get moving.

Have a special time each day to talk to him/her. Keep saying your name, the city and that you are coming so get ready.

When you write, feel like you are talking to him/her. When you are doing something fun, invite him/her there with you. When something scares you or you are doing a difficult releasing, call him/her so you don't feel alone.

Keep going no matter what you feel. Listen, and you will begin to hear or feel answers. You will find that your dreamtime includes him/her more freely and concretely.

By the time you meet in person you will already know each other very well. And you can compare your dreamtimes together.

Your Soul Mate is your other half, combined you are strong and free, a support system like no other. You are not alone, so open and get to know each other again.

ENERGY

When you are ready, incorporate energy in your Soul Mate connection.

Close your eyes and think of a kitten or puppy, notice the sensation that you feel. Practice feeling it. When you are comfortable feel yourself open and let that sensation grow until it fills you completely, then flows out from you. What you are feeling is energy.

As you become competent with feeling energy, you can think of someone you care about, feel the energy grow within you, then send it to that person. It is what I call an energy hug. They will feel it as warmth around their body.

Each day, when you begin your conversation with your Soul Mate, you can firstly think of them, feel the energy, the open and send that energy forth to them as you talk.

You will find that as time goes by you will begin feeling warmth like a hug around you, or a hot hand on your back. This is their thinking of you.

Activity - Write

If you quiet your mind and listen, you will hear the story of your Soul Mate and how you have missed them.

Bring your feelings into words, like I did. Write about your beautiful love story.

Throughout your journey into love, keep writing to and about your Soul Mate, feel the love between you. Know that it is real, and will be your experience very soon.
