Spots And Pimples Ruining Your Life? Stopping Your Social Life?

If acne or spots are starting to cause you emotianal distress it can easily spiral out of control to all out depression, that's why it's so important to take action and address the situation BEFORE this happens.

So what can you do to lose the spots and pimples for good?  A good start is to understand why you get spots and pimples, from there you can start your plan on how to avoid getting them or to get rid of the spots you already have.

Are You Going To Let Acne Take Over Your Life?

Emma James has even built her own website which will give you lots of great and useful advice on getting rid of spots and acne - visit her here at Stop Spots

Although acne is a problem that most people associate with teenagers, acne is actually a problem that can affect anyone at any age! But through my own personal struggles, I've managed to come up with some amazing ways to get rid of acne and spots for most people.

Every person will almost certainly have different ways to stop spots, but this is the place to find all the information you need. Keep reading to find out more and remember to check back regularly as I'm always updating this page when I find more ways to help people.

What Causes Spots And Why Do I Get Spots & Pimples?

This basic understanding can be crucial to the cure.

Acne and spots are caused by our pores (hair follicle's) becoming clogged and full of sebum, dead skin and bacteria. These problems can combine and then they build a formula for the hair follicle to become red swollen and angry looking.

Once the follicle becomes infected through the bacteria it will start to become more inflamed and will start to rise away from the skin making it look more unsightly.

The Hair Follicle

The hair follicle is simply where the hair emerges onto the face. Shaving and plucking hairs from the face can then cause ingrowing hairs which will lead to further spots going deeper into the face.

Sebum

The sebaceous gland's function is to coat the hair on the body with a waterproof like coating. When they start to produce too much sebum it can cause clogging of the pore. The gland can produce excess sebum when the body starts to produce testosterone.

You can control this with an amazing product that can be found here Clear Pores

Dead Skin Cells

The naturally occur all over the body. When they build up in the pores it can show on the face as a blackhead.

So if we put all these together in a tiny pore, you can expect them to become infected and inflamed. This is what we see as the spot or pimple.

What Happens When You Get An Outbreak Of Spots. Get Rid Of Spots Fast!

When spots strike you can almost guarantee that it's before a special event in your life. If an outbreak does suddenly make your face look like it should be covered up and not put on display, there are some simple tips that can help save the day.

1. The most important thing is to never squeeze or pick the pimple. I know how hard it is not to do it. But you WILL spread the bacteria that caused the pimples in the first place. By squeezing the pimple you will make it stand out even more by making it look angry and inflamed.

2. Drink loads and loads of water. The water keeps the body detoxed and naturally flushes out the bodies toxins, this does nothing but good for your skin. If you are already drinking plenty you'll find that the spots and pimples become less and less. About 2 litres of water a day is a good amount.

3. Dabbing toothpaste on the spot before bed is great at drying the spot or pimple out. I have heard of some people trying it with mouth wash, but it seems a little too harsh for sensitive skin.

4. Go into the bathroom and run a hot bath keeping the door shut. Create lots of steam in the room and then relax in the bath for a good twenty minutes. (Make sure that there is some ventilation in the room.) Get a hot flannel and place it on your face. This will open up the pores. Cleanse the face and then splash cold water onto the face and leave the bathroom. The cold water will close the pores and stop further infection from bacteria.

5. Try to keep your hair off your face. This one is very tricky with today's fashionable haircuts, but well worth it for a pimple free face.

If you want to see your top tip on here, then place it in the guestbook at the bottom of this page and once a week we will take the best and put them in the list.....

If you are looking for the best products that will take care of your skin, I only recommend Clear Pores

Should I Squeeze The Spot? (I know we all do!)

I know that the temptation is there to squeeze the spot or pimple in an attempt to rid it from your body. Don't do it!

When you squeeze the spot you are not only putting more bacteria in it and spreading it over the rest of your face, you are going to make it look much worse.

Just think back to the last time you squeezed a spot, within a few minutes it was swollen and angry looking. Try and remember that this is making it look much worse and you are opening up the pores. Then in an attempt to hide it, you'll probably put make up on top of the spot.

Doing that places even more oil into the now open pore, remember that the pore is already full of oil from the sebum build up.

Trust me on this .... it shows up even more now! Don't do it!

When Will I Stop Getting Spots & Pimples?

There is no easy answer to this question. Many people will find that their spots appeared when they hit puberty and disappeared soon after. For others the spots just wont stop, even in their twenties, thirties and upwards.

Many people believe that they should just except and live with the spots and pimples, for others the torment it causes is just too great and they seek methods of trying to get rid of them.

My advice is to try all the natural methods available before seeking drug therapy methods. You might find that what doesn't work for someone else can work wonders for you.

Testing and trying products and ideas is just a case of trial and error and learning what suits you and your skin.

If you are feeling really down and unhappy then it's important to speak to someone like your doctor or nurse. They will be able to help you cope with your feelings.

heey. ive tried toothpaste , it stung like hell , never use it just before you go school , do it on like wekends because , your spots will go down but they will stand out like a sore thumb, but i need help of getting rid of mine , if i use cleanser it burns my skin and scabs all of my skin , i wouldnt wash your hair everyday becuase it washes out the nutrients and will make your hiar go greasy like really quicklyy , i would do it evry 2 days semmes to work fine . i remeber when i used clearisal something a little tube for £7 and it didnt even work , it was pathetic i wouldnt use anything like , that.try not to touch your face , pop the spots becuase you spread around the puss which gets worse. dont put anything like a teddy of anything near your head easpecailly like a pillow i no it may sound stupid but if you greasy hair the night before you lay on yor pillow , its on your face i would wash your bedding often , dont use the same flannel as people as they spread onto other people .

The best thing to do is to exfoliate your skin, every morning, and every night, and then just leave your skin! If you have a spot, don't touch it, don't apply all those "spot treatment" creams, which claim they will reduce the spot within 4 hours, they don't work! Wash your face, clean your hands, and then apply Moisturiser if you have dry skin. If you skin isn't dry, then just leave it, pull your hair back (girls) and don't touch your face!

If your a girl, its okay, just add a little makeup, but make sure you wash it off.
If your a boy its not so good, you cant really use makeup, you will just have to keep trying products and hope they go ;)

Toothpaste works well, also talcum power as they both dry them up. But they both clog up your pours so make sure you wash if all of well first thing in the morning :)

My tips are -

DRINK LOTS OF WATER 1.5L OR 2L A DAY WILL BE GOOD

EAT HEALTHLY AND AVOID OILY FATTY FOODS LIKE CHIPS AND CHOCOLATE

HAVE LOTS OF SLEEP ( 10 HOURS SLEEP FOR TEENS AND 8 OR 9 FOR ADULTS)

DO EXERCISE - IT HELPS PUMP BLOOD AROUND THE BODY TO THE FACE

USE MOISTOURIZER BUT DONT OVERDO IT

CLEAN YOUR FACE MORNING AND NIGHT AND USE A EXFOILEATOR ONCE EVERY WEEK OR TWICE DEPENDING ON YOUR SKIN

OCCASIONALLY PUT A FLANNEL ON YOUR FACE ( MAKE IT WARM ) AND THIS WILL OPEN THE PORES

DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE OR REMOVE OIL WITH YOUR FINGERS - JUST DONT!

KEEP HAIR OFF YOUR FACE ESPECIALLY IF IT IS GREASY

WASH YOUR HAIR MORE OFTEN

USE PRODUCTS ON YOUR FACE THAT ARE OIL-FREE - READ THE LABEL

AVOID FIZZY DRINKS

THE WORST SWEET TO EAT ARE SKITTLES - LIKE I HAD A PACKET AND I GOT A SPOT AND SO ON.. MY FRIENDS REALISED IT TOO.

I WOULDNT USE TOOTHPASTE OR MOUTH WASH OR SUDOCREM - IT COULD BE TOO RICH FOR YOUR FACE SKIN

hope i helped
did i ? x

hi my name is sammie and i get spots every now and then and most of the time they come before important things like going back to school from 6 weeks and going to escapde
most of the time they come by stress and cheap makeup.
my tips are:

1.Dont use clearasil if it has japenees writin on the bottle becasue it make you skin dry and not nice.

2.wash your face everyday and everynight this helps abit.

3.never touch the spots it will just make it worst and then you will get more.

4.I know everyone puts foundation on ther face when they have spots DONT it will just make it worse if you do put foundation over it then use mineral foundation like i do you can get it from any good makeup store.

5.it is kind of impossible but try and keep your hair out of your face as mush as possible.

I got spots since I was about nine? I'm 15 now...and they're calming down...it's not acne, just spots, and they're so annoying. However, most people my age get the, too, so yeah. It's normal. Plain old soap and water really works. Witch Hazel sucks if you have sensitive skin like I do; if you've got really oily skin it'll probably work, but not help the spots. Something I found works is actually antibacterial handgel, like Carex's aloe vera handgel. It smells nice too =] Haha

i think to get rid of spots you should leave them alone and if they are still there mix porridge oats a dash of milk and honey and enough water to make a paste put it on your face leave for around 5-10mins and after you wash it off your spots would have camed down als your skin wil look great and feel great!

I thought there are plenty of chemicals around and why not to cure acne naturally permanently? Nice lens, I gave it 5 stars and it is worth every one of them.

use clean and clear spot cleansing lotion. It is not a cream it is like a liqiud that u rub on ur face with cotton wool . You ca even see the dirt coming off ur face

this is what i do to get rid of pimples. for me, it gets rid of my pimple in 3-5 days.
Crush aspirin, i recommend 3 tablets, into a small bowl. Then get lemon juice and squirt 5 dots of it into the bowl. Mix it so its paste-like, and put it on your face for about 20 minutes every day until its gone!
