Really Easy Spring Cupcakes
Quick and Easy Springtime Cupcakes
For making a quick batch of Springtime cupcakes, I usually start with a boxed cake mix. I know this is cheating but when the weather finally turns nice after the long winter, I like to get outdoors into my garden (and out of the kitchen) as much as possible. Trust me, when the decorations are this cute, no one will mind the boxed cake mix! Cook the cupcakes according to box directions and allow them to cool before decorating.Just before Serving, use whipped cream to top your cupcakes, then decorate with fresh fruit slices, or berries in circular patterns to simulate floral designs on the cupcakes.
Use your family's favorite fruits and be sure to mix and match a bit for variety.
Leftover cupcakes will need to be refrigerated so you'd best just go ahead and finish them off!
