Spyware Removal: Prevent Spyware from taking control of your Computer or maybe LIFE!!!

After losing my faith in McAfee and Spy Sweeper, I decided to do on a hunt to find a good spyware detector as my permanent. I ran across Spyware Cease and read good reviews about it so decided to buy it and give it a spin. I tested the product on my cousin's PC since mine is spyware free. The spyware software surprised me with the amount of different variants of spyware it found that most spyware softwares can't. It is also known for fighting off Virtumonde but I never tested it against Virtumonde. Overall this is a really great product and I really think you guys should try it out. It also has a free scan for you to try out.

Another major problem on the internet is adware. Although it isn't as bad as spyware, it is still a threat to you. For one you get flooded with ads which becomes a nuisance quickly. It also passes some of your info to third party sites. There are many adware cleaners out there, but I'd like to tell you about the adware program I use. It is called AdwareBot. I feel it is one of the top adware cleaners out there. Unlike other cleaners, this one has fixed my pop-up and pc performance issues. It found the remaining results that my other adware cleaners didn't. If you have a problem with pop-ups or think you are infected with adware then you should definitely give this cleaner a run.

Virtumonde is a HIGHLY aggressive and the most pain in the ass spyware. Depending on which variation of Virtumonde you are infected with, you will see symptoms such as: ad popups every min saying your PC is infected and download this fix..., changes your background, very slow internet connection, very slow startup and pc performance, desktop and icons disappear, and so much more. The trojan grows into your pc every day making the symptoms only get worse. I personally got infected with this trojan from a freeware cleaner and took me a week before I found a fix. The trojan isn't detected by AdAware, Spybot, etc. The ones that detect it CAN'T remove it. Many people have tried to manually remove Virutmonde but it only ended up in them destroy their computer by remove the wrong registry, etc. I will provide you with tools to remove this pest from your computer for good.

Alternative #1: VundoFix (Click the pic to download)

VundoFix is a free Virtumonde remover which has helped remove the trojan from some computers, however it didn't work for you but you can try it.


Alternative #2: Malware Bytes



Hopefully the first method worked for you, however if it didn't then its time to bring out the official and only 100% Virtumonde killer. The product is called Malware Bytes but however it isn't free. Well the free version won't kill Virtumonde at least. I had to pay $25 (better than paying $80 for a technician) to get this trojan gone. After you buy the program, YOU MUST REBOOT AND INSTALL IN SAFE MODE. Virtumonde doesn't allow you to install any spyware cleaners. After you INSTALL IN SAFE MODE, run the program do a FULL SCAN. It will delete all the infected files and BOOM, you are Virtumonde free. However for safe measures, reboot and run another full or quick scan to make sure they aren't any leftovers. :)

The question is, which Anti-Virus is the best? I scanned and tested all three so I have these results for you. I will talk about Avast first. Avast is a great antivirus overall, and can also pick up some forms of spyware and adware. The cons is this program are the lack of support for this program is terrible and no firewall. Avira has a great index of known viruses out. Although Avira doesn't pick up any spyware or adware it picks up viruses that Avast couldn't. Last up is AVG Free. This is definitely the best free anti virus out of the three. Not only does it pick up the most viruses but it picks up spyware as well. It also create rescue diskettes. You have to download this antivirus asap.
