Squid Snorts 'n Snickers

Squidoo captchas are great. Many sites use streams of meaningless numbers and letters that are hard to read much less duplicate. Am I the only one who has had to type one in several times because it was illegible to start with? Sometimes you just have to guess and hope the website accepts it.

Squidoo bases their captchas on simple words that can make some crazy combinations and are easy to use.

So what is a Captcha and why do they use them?

change----- - Yea, I didn't believe it either when I saw just one word to type in!

eggtwit - a derogatory term for someone who has done something insanely stupid.

gaglook - Fuzzy plumber's butt

geekdragon - Someone who has either a Lens of the Day or the number 1 lens rank.

gooploop - Whether you say it goo ploop or goop loop, I don't want to pick it up!

licksneeze - Worse than picking your nose.

lickworm - a little boy's dare :0)

nosewoof - Kind of like when your sneeze comes through your nose.

pigbird - Holy Flying Bacon, Batman

snagspot - See Spot run. Run, Spot, run. (Anyone else use Dick, Jane and Sally readers?)

sneezepea - Don't put that up your nose...no lie, my 18 month old grandson stuffed them in his ears.

sniffmeow - Curious dog meets fearful cat.

snugpod - Sounds like a fairy bed to me.

squidboy - Sadly, too young to join Squidoo.

squidnook - What else but our own corner of Cyberville?

squidsnog - OK, if Squidoo is using words, what is a snog?

tootwoof - the term used for construction workers showing their appreciation for the tootsie walking down the street.

twitahoy - if only there were such a warning...

uberwow - Super stunned; So 'floored' that you have figuratively gone through the planet and come out the other side.

ubernose - Ah, Where's Cyrano gotten off to?

It's been a while since I started this list. I still get a chuckle from such things as 'gigglebird'. I wonder what he would look like. I think the one with the greatest ewww factor has been 'gooptoes', "dogworm" is running a close second. Nuff said about that :P
