    Congrats to all the 100 hopefuls that made it. I know of the time and mental creativeness it takes to create great lenses. I wanted to reach 100 but as it turned out this was not "season" of timing. However, you all have inspired me and I will be there pushing ahead for the next one.

    Just completed my 100th lens:
    Whale watching in Hervey Bay

    But what synchronicity! I created this lens on whale watching in Hervey Bay (100th lens) as the whales are moving South towards Stradbroke Island. I had unwittingly created my 50th lens about Stradbroke Island when the whales were moving north towards Hervey Bay. I rediscovered this as I was adding the hyperlink for the Stradbroke Island lens.

    Just added all 10 of my lenses. Been working on them since the day I joined. Sorry I've waited till the last minute to publish all of them. You guys must have thought I chickened out right? The first 7 lenses are a series starting with the "Build a website" keywords. My favorite about the song Stardust Melody is lens #8. Learning to beatbox is lens #9 and finally, lens #10 is about my first Giant Squid Challenge. I'm going to bed now. This will be my first night's sleep NOT thinking about how I'm NOT going to meet the deadline!!!!

    My Lens #47!!!!!! It's The Best Ever Banana Nut Cupcake Recipe. It's an old family recipe from my husband's mother and it's really, really good.

    I think I boo-booed on my last post. That should have been lens #46 and it was The Healing Garden Body Lotion

    This is really getting exciting. Or exhausting...or both? I want to be a Giant Squid so bad I can just taste it!! Not sure if that's good or bad - ha!

    #46 is . The only problem with this one is that the intro photo doesn't appear. Gil said in the Forum that it's a bug and he's working on it.

    Number 44 for me is Books Are Toys, Too. It was a Rocket Moms project but Bonnie also suggested creating a lens on a favorite children's book so I guess I've covered a couple of bases!

    This is my 5th contribution to the Giant Squid Challenge, (this round).

    (P.S. Any word on when the War Boards will be updated? Mine only shows 1 lens)

    I won't be able to make the Italian premier of Michael Moore's new movie, so I did a lens based on reviews. I'll probably do a suqidvid on it once I see Capitalism: A Love Story.

    My lenses usually start out snarky, but I try to tone them down in the re-writes.

    I combined 2 of the 'A to Z of Herbs and Spices' entries into 1 lenses. It made sense since they come from the same tree and nearly all of the information on both is identical. Nutmeg and Mace.

    Chapter 3 of the web-serial Shirker John Leprechaun, Preparing To Fight Giants, is up and running I may not have mentioned Libertarian Leprechaun before, although I did stick it into the plexo.

    Hello - I was two lenses late in the last term, and did not make the Giant 100. I would like to stick with the home team, and go for the 100 again.     Thanks for the invite, KAB. I am surely interested and I'd love to join your team. I will do my best to continue to produce lenses, however, I'm only starting on #39 now. Not sure if I'll make it by the end of September but I'd love to try. I am also in my first trimester of pregnancy with my 2nd (and LAST) baby and have the Ickies (that's the official medical term) but as I said, I'd love to give it a shot. Mmmmm....a shot sounds soooo good right now. 7 months to go for that. Bummer. K, so count me in if you can cause I want that badge. ;)

    Changed from my normal one or two lenses a month while I write the online novel Complicit Simplicity. If I haven't finished it by then it should be good for several lenses, one per chapter. If it's finished, I'll be editing it - not many new lenses for a while.

    My commitment to this group was to produce enough lenses to make the Giant 100. Regardless of whether or not I made the Giant 100 this time, I intend to fulfill my obligation albeit three lenses late. I finished lens #98 today: ( http://www.squidoo.com/RockStarDolls. There will be two more in the next couple days. Then I intend to go back through the older lenses to make sure they are up to par for the next round.

    Many thanks for those who provided their support by peeking at a lens or two of mine and taking the time to rate and/or make a comment. Everyone here did a fantastic job, and once I get my ducks in a row, I will be back to visit the newly produced work listed here at Team Kab. This is great team, and It has been a privilege working with everyone here in this contest. Bravo to all who made the grade, and my hat's off to all those who were able to go above and beyond their published goal.

    I've just realised why my count is showing 200 on my dashboard and 199 on my "about me" module. One of my lenses (about a forum, and it's on the plexo) is R-rated, and it's being skipped on the feed and total.

    I truly wish I could comply with your assignment for today. I really do, but I am unable at the moment. My laptop has seen its last days. I hadn't realized that the fan had broken and the sucker overheated and up and crashed on me. It was a few years old though and I guess overuse didn't help it. Now I am going to have to scrounge and save in order to get a new one. I will start building again as soon as I am up and running. In the meantime I am using a friends computer and / or going to the library just to be able to browse and check e-mails.

    Well, I gave it my best but was a few shy of 50. Just could not bring it together. But, not all is lost as I am close to my goal I set for June 30. Had a few things get in the way: work, husband going through chemo and May 29, a new granddaughter was born (Desiree Sue).

    I wish to congratulate all baby squids that were able to make the big 50. But remember all who did not, you are that must closer. It has been fun.

    Just a quick note to say that, although I've just published my White Cloud's Prayer lens, I've already edited it to include a Featured Lenses module.     Thanks for the invite and the visit to my new lensography. I am so credulously slow at lens building. Took me since the launch the the lensography to get the next off the pad. Five days or more.     I still have 12 more lenses to go before I can even think about becoming a giant. I love a challenge, but my time is in somewhat of an unpredictable flux at the moment so I don't think I will join a team simply to slow them down. Great idea though.
