A Preview of Coming Attractions

If you like this book, you'll love our collection of Baby Boomer lenses!

Papa Do Run: A Baby Boomer Looks (and Laughs) at Vintage Rock & Roll

Papa Do Run: A Baby Boomer Looks (and Laughs) at Vintage Rock & Roll is a fast fun ride through the 50s, 60, and 70s. The author doesn't miss a beat in these generous, irreverent, often hilarious essays of growing up in 60s. From Motown to the British invasion, from cars to surf, she proves that for some, it's not only rock and roll, it's a love story.

BABYKITTY

What a great idea! I'm a "first in the age line" boomer and, believe me, it gets sort of scary when everyone starts talking about "things from the past" and I can remember them like they were yesterday! LOL

Great idea for a topic. I have a lens that would be of interest to Baby Boomers. Oscar's Drive-In was a Southern California icon in the fifties and sixties. Share your Oscar's memories at:

Wow what a bunch of memories this lens brought back. There are certainly a bunch of us at Squidoo isn't there. ;) I'm a 52 as well... and yes, it was a very good year.

HI!

Great lens and a great idea. I created the Memreeze lens which is an intro to a networking site I'm working on. The aim is to create a place for people to share their memories & recollections and make new friends. I'm drafting new Memreeze lenses for each decade since the 1920s and I'll roll them out over the next few months. Hope you find them interesting. The main Memreeze site is at www.squidoo/memreeze.

I am not a baby boomer but I think this is a great lens idea; maybe someone will create a lens for children of the 70's?

Thank you's

A very special "thank you" goes out to lensmaster rms for setting a great example always and for giving me the idea for this project, based on hers at Cabaret Squidoo.

Another big "thanks" to lensmaster giddygabby, who has done this same thing, only different, over at Boomers Rock Headquarters. Giddy was the first to demonstrate the cooperative spirit of Squidoo to me back when I was just a newbie lensmaster, and I appreciate her for it.
