Squid Junkie
Ranked #27,102 in Computers & Electronics, #512,085 overall
I am a Squidoo junkie. There, I've said it. They say that admitting it is the first step. I'm pretty sure that I am not the only one with Squiditus. It started with a simple tea lens but now I am always wondering what my next lens will be.
I've started this lens as a self help group for others inflicted with Squiditus. Send me your lens and tell me your stories.
Squid Junkie is a Squid U Tip
I just saw that Squid Junkie has become Squid U Tip #63! It says:
The first step to being addicted to something is admitting you have a problem. (Unless you're addicted to Squidoo, in which case the first step is to create more lenses!)
Woo Hoo!

- Do you check you Squidoo stats every morning?
- Add another point if you have ever refreshed your Dashboard page at 1:00 AM CST to see your LensRank update. (Very sneaky, Squidoo changed the update time...)
- Do you scour the web to find new information to keep your lens fresh?
- Have you ever checked the Squidoo homepage to see if your lens is featured there?
- Add another point if you have you ever repeatedly refreshed the Squidoo homepage to see if how often your lens is featured there.
- Do you check your Squidoo stats page even though you know they only update once a day?
- Add an additional point if you wish the stats page were in real time.
- Do you have more then one lens?
- Add another point if you have more lenses then friends.
- Add another point you think your lenses are your friends.
- Bonus Question: Have you, while on vacation, texted messaged someone to tell you your LensRank? (I, sadly, have to admit that I did this from Scotland last week...)

New Dashboard
So I opened up my Dashboard today and saw the new, improved Dashboard. It was kind of a shock. I had to make sure my browser loaded it correctly. But it's grown on me and I kind of like it.
New Google Ads Location
I just got back from vacation and noticed that the Google ads are now at the top of the page. I'm torn about whether I like that or not.
I like that it's up top (and it seemed to get me a hit) but at the same time, I like my introduction up top. I'll have to ponder it for a while, but I think making money trumps introduction placement...

Squidoo Graph Improvements
I'm happy to see that Squidoo has changed the font color on the statistic graphs from white to black. It was hard to see the numbers when you were at the bottom of the graph or on the edge.Squidoo has also changed the graphs so that as your rank get better, the line goes up. I like this more since I correlate improvement with going up.
Thanks Squidoo!

80's Music Obsession
If you are in your 30's you probably remember these.
While I'm confessing, I might as well share my (not so) secret obsession for 80's (and early 90's) club music. All of these CDs helped me define who I was in college. I listened to them and danced around the living room (and sometimes still do...). Those were the days!
