Find Facebook Fan Pages by Squidoo Lensmasters

Facebook is a popular site to connect with friends, co-workers, and groups. Many
Squidoo lensmasters connect with one another from their personal profile, but it can get hard to sort through news from your intimate friends and family and Squidoo friends.

Depending on how many Facebook friends you have, you could be missing important news from a family member; or your friends may not quite understand the hoopla over your latest lens, joining a Giant Squid challenge, or getting a purple star.

One way to solve these frustrations is to keep your personal profile account for intimate family and friends. Then you create a
Facebook Fan Page and invite your Squidoo friends to join.

Facebook encourages Fan Pages, as a way to promote a product, person, or service. I created my Fan Page for a place to encourage people to create new lenses, share Squidoo tips to newbies, and promote everyone's lenses. As I discovered my Squidoo friends' Fan Pages, I've added them to my Facebook Fan Page.

Just like the wonderful diversity found in Squidoo lenses, lensmasters' Facebook Fan Page are unique. Some lensmasters share their businesses, hobbies, promote groups, teach Squidoo tips, give updates on Squidoo news, and share their lenses.

Besides adding them to my own Fan Page, I wanted a way to keep track of all the wonderful Fan Pages created by fellow lensmasters. My solution? Create a lens about it, of course! If you're wondering what Squidoo lensmasters are sharing on their Fan Pages, please read on.

Lensmasters, if you've created a Fan Page on Facebook, please add your link(s) to the appropriate link plexos. Plexo Categories: Giant, Squidoo News/Tips, All Fan Pages, Angels.

If you're a Giant and An Angel, add your link to both category plexos. If you're a lensmaster and your Fan Page will give Squidoo updates and tips, add your link under both plexos.

I am like some others here. I definitely think that Lensmasters should make Fan Pages on Facebook. I also definitely need to understand just how to do that. If you have a product or a store; I can see how that would work. But how does one set up a Squidoo Fan Page just to promote your own lenses and and those of others?
My new quest is to find out how. Which is what brought me to this lens.

sandyspider says:

I think it is. I'm still trying to figure out how to get others involved.

Nope! I don't see a real benefit to myself or Squidoo.

Evelyn_Saenz says:

Facebook fanpages used to be a great idea but I have found that groups work better since with groups you get a link on the righthand side of your facebook page and the messages show up at the top of your page. I'd say, start a group page instead.
