Giant Squid Challenge September 2009 Appreciation Day

Ranked #5,987 in Squidoo Community, #375,518 overall

Are you in Squidoo's Giant Challenge for September 2009? I am. And I know how many hours the Coaches and Leaders have, and are putting in to help each of us, and people from other teams, to meet our Goals.

How much time do you spend making a lens? Now think of the hours and hours that our Coaches, and Team Leader, spend helping us make them, then adding feedback. The WiWon Team has 48 of us to help that are going for Giant, and another 19 going for the Giants 100 Club. That's a lot of lenses they visit and critique, and the other Teams have their hands full as well.

But, our Coaches and Leaders are Lensmasters too! Many of them have let their own lenses slip in ratings to help us. And that's where YOU come in, WE come in.

Let's show our Appreciation for our Coaches, by deeds in addition to words! Here's my idea of how to do this.....

Show Your Appreciation to the Giant Challenge Team Leaders and Coaches

Show Your Appreciation to the Giant Challenge Coaches, to all Coaches, on all Teams! After all, we are a Community, and one of the criteria for making Giant is to be a good Community Member.

There's not enough good things to say for everyone that has helped us in this session of the Giants Challenge, now let's visit THEIR lenses. Read, rank, participate in Plexos.....links are provided to one lens for every coach, on every team, and also a link to their Bio Page so you can join their fan club and see all the lenses they've made. You might even get a secondary benefit of meeting new people, and learning new things!

Where to find the lenses that need a little help to come up in ratings

I just learned, after almost a year on Squidoo that the lenses near and at the bottom of the bio pages are the "Lowest Ranked One's" thanks to Katherine, one of my coaches, on the WiWon Team. Amazing that I never thought to go there, just been making my lenses, and little by little have learned like so many all the little nuances of the Squidoo Community. The lenses I have included here were not the top ranked ones, but ones that need a little "love".

Sometimes, something can be so obvious, but not until after you even know it's there!

Working Together=Success

This is my Team, and I cannot say enough good things about the people that followed through on their commitments and helped the Team work towards the common goals. Laughter and Tears, support for each other, that will be remembered. Yes, we appreciate the Lensmasters/Coaches that Volunteered their time for the WiWon Team. And a great big Thank you to Michelle (a_willow) for not just sharing with us, but with all the other Teams as well.

Video made for and by WiWon Team Members

Teams are made up of people, and we never know if they will mesh or not, Nor do we know in advance how motivated they are, or if something might come up to prevent them from reaching their goals. All the Giant Squid Challenge Leaders and Coaches have to deal with this during the Challenge.

This Video was made with contributions from various WiWon Team members showing the Motivation, humor, and teamwork that WiWon Team has shown. Since I am on the WiWon Team, and this is my lens I decided to include it....:)

Visit these lenses, rate them if you haven't already, and vote on Plexo's

I have picked just one lens from each Team Leader and/or Coach, but use the links to their Bio Pages, join their fan club, and see more of their lenses. It is our turn to "Give Back" and a nice diversion as we enter the final stretch of the Challenge that ends September 30th.

Team One is Led by a very special person, Mimi, also known as GrowWear. Mimi's team is one of the smaller ones, probably because the other teams grabbed everyone first :) But as Mimi said "We have Heart!"

Jolly Judicious Jetsetters-2 better known as JJJ-2's Coach's Links

Joan is the Leader for the Jolly Judicious Jetsetters-2. There are several good lensmasters and Coaches on this Team. Check them out and show the coaches some appreciation! You don't have to be on this team to say Thank You for all that they've given to the Community. If you are on their Team, show your appreciation!

Team Kab's Fab Squid Squad

I looked and looked but didn't find any Coaches (made my job easier LOL:) But if the Team has coaches please leave their Squidoo name in the comment section and I will happily add them. We want everyone to be recognized, and shown the appreciation they deserve.
