    Thanks for the information Bonnie. 5*****. I think I will steer clear of Clearspring for new lenses, and wait to see what their new offerings give us. RIght now I don't fully understand how their replacement functions. Playlist sounds like a good alternative though.

    I've been reading this lens again. The first date of Dec. 3rd worries me. Does that mean that it is too late to make a widget if I don't have an account with Clearspring?

    Hi Laraine,

    Yes, if you don't have an account with Clearspring now, you will not be able to create an account from the above date. Hoping they replace the platform with something as user friendly.

    I have added music to my Christmas In Pendleton SC lens and really like it. I can almost do this now without the instructions. Thanks again and blessed!

    Hi, you might point out that it is possible to add your OWN music to a playlist - I just did it - it's a little buggy (sometimes it says three times in a row there's an error with the URL and the fourth time it works). Go to advanced search and into the search box put the url of the mp3 song on your server. Hah!

    Many many thanks for this information. ...lots of possibilities with clearspring.

    I can't listen to music from playlist.com as I'm in the Uk and copyright law restricts it's use here. I did manage to get music on one of my lenses using clearspring and goear. It works perfectly and it's a nice neat player.

    Bonnie...thank you ever so much. Your screencast videos made all the difference in figuring it out. I think it was even better than having simple written instructions. It was like having you right beside me. I'm working on focusing on movie soundtracks goiing forward and this is the perfect applications.

    Hi Karen,

    Unless you have uploaded the music to a server linked to the Playlist website, then you won't be able to use your own music

    I have used this on 4 of my lenses now and readers love it. Again I thank you for the info. I have also started a series of how to use module lenses and have featured this lens on my A Module lens as you and this lens made some of mine a bit better. Thank you.

    Thank you. I finally got it! I had some problems figuring out how to get Squidoo on the list of options for Clearsprings but once I chose Select All, there it was. Thank you for this great instructional lens.
