Squidoo for Massage therapists. Using Squidoo is a great way to promote your business online. If you already have a website it will help create backlinks to your massage website. If you don't have a website for your massage business it is a great free way to start.
The other great thing is that you can create a Squidoo lens on just about any topic and work to get it found by readers and the search engines and make additional income. The way it works is that Squidoo shares 50% of the income they get from the affiliate ads with you and also have a tier system for payouts (that I don't fully understand yet!) that will pay higher ranking lens masters an additional fee.
With all of my experience using Site Build it! for creating websites all you have to do is apply those same principles here which I will be outlining in detail here.
It will also help to start and join groups. I started this Massage Therapist group for starters. As more massage therapists create lenses it may be better to create groups by types of massage and by states!

Basic Squidoo for Massage Therapists
1. Create a lens. Name it Massage in your city or area. (I used downtown Seattle massage for my clinic). You can actually go to my page and click on 'create a page like this' in the right hand column and it will recreate a lens using the same modules as I did to start you out.
2. Use the same words that you used in your title in the tags, title of the first module and in the first words of the module. Use those same words throughout your module a few times.
3. Add modules using the keywords in the title of the module
4. Add pictures that are named using the main keywords to modules
5. Join the massage therapist squidoo group that I have created.
6. Login to Squid Utilities and go to the advanced dashboard and 'ping' your blogs.
7. If you have a full website link your lens to it and give a link from your lens.
8. Create other lenses on specific health issues or different types of massage that you do and link them together in the lens roll.
