Gosh! A picture that does two things at once. Introduces me to you on Squidoo's WhosWho and lets you know about an Amazon Short that will help you sell your book! Too sweet!

It seemed like a good idea to take advantage of an invitation that says, "C'mon over, we think you're somebody." Mmmm. Always wanted to be one of those. Didn't know how to comply so this lens focuses on awards, which, as THE FRUGAL BOOK PROMOTER, I think are one of the best promotional aids ever. You'll note that In don't think an award has to be a Pulitzer to make a difference in your campaign to let people know about anything and everything you want them to know about!

Awards Work! You Can Get Them or Give Them!

Either way, awards are credibility builders!

I sponsor the Noble (Not Nobel!) Prize for literary achievement. No entry fee. Litary work only. 'Cause that is a sadly neglected catagory, don't you see? So, poetry, literary short stories, litery novels. Send them to me. Your book will posted on my Back to Lieterature column page on MyShelf.com this January. You'll get a logo to use on your website and blog. And there is no entry fee!

Awards I've Used to Promote and to Let My Readers Know That They'll Love My Books

There are even a couple of awards here that help me market my speaking and my consulting services.

Sooooo....are there any here that you could apply for and win or come in as a finalist?

Great to see you on Who's Who, Carolyn! Love your YouTube vids too. Think how many people you can reach on Squidoo - and those people will certainly benefit from your books, Amazon short and newsletter. I definitely have! Best, Jennifer Akers
