Types Of Lenses

So you want to build a Squidoo Lens. What are you going to write about? Where do I start? How do I do it? How long will it take me? What is my name? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

First take a deep breath and let me explain at least five types of lenses you can build with some examples of each. Here are the five types of lenses you can build:
1. Type 1 = Informative lenses about subjects you are passionate about. These are lenses on subjects you really feel for, such as your hobby, social issues, political issues, sports team, etc.

2. Type 2 = Informative lenses that support causes you are promoting. This would include lenses on any cause you support. These include charity causes, sports etc.

3. Type 3 = Community led lenses which you provide for other members to add their links to. This is an example of that type of lens. I will provide information to you the reader on, you guessed it, Squidoo lenses and will provide a place to post your links.

4. Type 4 = Informative lenses which provide products and solutions to visitors. This lens is one you produce to solve a problem and then provide a solution in the form of a product.

5. Type 5 = Lenses which support other lenses you have built but are more or less product led. This lens you just post a sales pitch to sell a product.
