I just wanted to say that there may be a cure for type II diabetes called "the water cure". I say "may" because I don't have diabetes myself so I cannot say first hand. I can say that I have been cured of sinuses and asthma though. Check out my squidoo on the water cure:

    http://www.squidoo.com/seasalt_and_water_natures_cure

This is no joke, there are testimonials first hand of the water cure fixing a multitude of health problems, including diabetes.

For the diabetic testimonials I urge you to visit:

Then scroll down to "Diabetes, A Simple Fix!"

I had not heard about the St. Vincents Declaration. Thats a good tip. Nice lens on an important subject. Especially since here in the US, diabetes is a raging epidemic that in most instances is fully preventable through diet and exercise. I write about it extensively and post alot on my blog about it. Thanks for this lens & for the cudos on my superfoods lens. I appreciate it. You get a 5*

Thank you, I will check these links out. I am seeing my old (retired) doctor tonight on his insistence. He wants to put some sort of plan together to get me in to a specialist for an HBA1C....
    All the best!

HI ! I feel with you ! There are several close family members who suffer from type2 ! That is why I keep searching for help !

I found some interesting articles about the real cause :http://www.healingmatters.com/index.htm

Also some of my relatives find easy to control their blood sugar level by eating 9 eggs a week for breakfast.
My mum says that eating beans for dinner keeps her sugar normal .(Phaseoli legumen infusion is also recommended !)
My husband says the same about lettuce and cabbage dinners .
The goat's rue infusion as well .
