Star Wars Galaxies Overview

Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided would be released on 6/36/03. On the first day, all servers were down so the real start up did not happen until the 27th.

Star Wars Galaxies also known as SWG is a MMORPG meaning massive multi-player online role playing game. SWG gives Star Wars fans a real time gaming experience in the Star Wars world that they have grown to love.

There are many racers and professions to choose from in SWG. You can be anything from a trader, an entertainer, smuggler, jedi or even a bounty hunter that can hunt other players. And the players can choose to be neutral, rebels or imperials and can take part in the galactic civil war.

SWG has been highly criticized for it's combat upgrades which many of the games veterans felt betrayed them in order to attract new, younger players.

Today, the servers populations are down considerably from their peaks, but the game is still alive and well.

Exclusive in-game wearable: The wearable will be three types of "eyewear." Note that we do not currently have any other eyewear in the game, and these wearables cannot be traded, so they're exclusive to those who have the Collector's Edition. These will help identify the in-game character as being one of the first in the game.
Art concept book. This will feature drawings, computer models, renders, character information, etc. Revel in the art and history behind this massively multiplayer game
