How Much Money Can You Make From Your Catering Business
Grants To Start A Catering Service
A lot of people think that the only help they can get from the government is in the form of government loans, but this isn't true. You can get grants which you Don't need to repay in order to start your business.
Getting grants to start a business is entirely possible, the problem is that it's hard to find the right grant for you with all the bureaucracy and red tape involved. Another problem is that, like you, there are a lot of people hungry for grant cash, so you need to be able to stand out out of the crowd of applicants. Remember, grants can be in the thousands of dollars, so this is important.
If you don't know how to go about finding suitable grants and applying to them check out this resource Uncle Sam's Money Grant Resource
Both of these 2 resources can give you the inside peek into the world of grants and how to apply to them. If you're strung out for cash and want to have the government chip in the startup cost of your catering service or even cover the entire expense, then these 2 resources will sure come in handy.
I don't think that you need both of them as they cover much of the same material, but having 1 one them can save you a lot of money, time, frustration, and effort. They will also increase your chances of getting grant money.
Here are the resources again (just click one of the 2 links):

- If I prepare the food on the premises of a private home hosting the function do I still need a permit? Do I HAVE to have a permanent kitchen as a business address?

- How do I obtain a business license/permit in the State of Florida for a catering business. I am already incorporated - had license and insurance in Virginia but find it difficult to obtain in Florida. Can you point me in the right direction. I am crazy passionate about cooking and creating cuisines from all over the world.

- Hi Kimberly, Now you need to start building your network of friends and recommendors. Any friend which has an event should come to you for catering so that people start hearing about you. Cast your net wide and you will catch more fish.
