The Where
After faithfully watching the television series LOST for the last few years, I would definitely choose Hawaii as my destination to be stranded. Here are some lovely images to get you in the mood:
One Book
The Great Book of Amber: The Complete Amber Chronicles, 1-10 (Chronicles of Amber)

I read all of them when I was a teenager and totally loved them. I would love to be stranded on an island with this complete series in one book to relive the adventures of the princes and princesses of Amber.
But the logical woman in me thinks it would have to be a survival guide for women. Know of any?
One Movie
The Sound of Music (Two-Disc 40th Anniversary Special Edition)

I grew up watching the Sound of Music and have always loved Julie Andrews. I chose this movie because it could also double as CD. It has a great story (a pre-nun who becomes a governess and falls in love with a captain with seven children - in case you didn't know) and great songs and generally upbeat musical scores.

I always felt this CD reflected "pieces of me". It is probably one of the most played and enjoyed CDs in my collection that I actually play from beginning to end every time I listen to it.

Oatmeal is a versatile food. You can add almost anything to it and you only need water to make it. It can be eaten for breakfast, lunch and supper.

I'd take books, chocolate, and a few other things. I wouldn't miss shopping one bit. I avoid malls!

Well, guess I would have to choose either a the Italian countryside or somewhere in the mountains in the SE US. Somewhat moderate climates for me. I would skip the books, CD and movie as they would all get old fast, and opt for the internet but I guess that's cheating.
