Stroke Symptom
I will never forget that day, though it took place more than 10 years ago...It was a Friday night... my wife and I were just getting ready to go out for dinner, when we got the call.
An ER Nurse 500 miles was calling to tell me that my mom had just had a massive stroke. When I asked the nurse if I should come immediately, her reply was, "If it was my mom, I would want want to be here."
We flew out that night.
What took place over the next few days, could best be described as a faith building experience. I was constantly reminded of our own mortality and the reality of not being able to control all things.
It was an incredible time of growth, even in the midst of the mourning.
Prior to that experience, I had no understanding of what a stroke was or how it may affect the people who survive. I knew it had to do something with the brain, but beyond that, I was clueless.
I hope that this lense can be useful to you in one of two ways. First of all, as a place to get a better understanding of the symptoms of stroke. Secondly as a place to find a regained sense of hope.

It's a 47 page eBook that describes in great detail what a stroke is, what are the immediate effects after a stroke and most importantly - what should the survivors, families and caregivers be doing to ensure a full and satisfying life AFTER a stroke.
