The Band, Not The River

I'm making this tribute page to the band Styx, because I think they're a great group of guys. They're talented and just plain fun to listen to. The band was started in the early 70's by Dennis Deyoung and JT. In the late 90's they lost the original drummer Chuck Panozzo to Liver Disease. Tommy Shaw, the guitarist has since moved on and done some things with Ted Nugent and Ruben Blades.

A friend of mine introduced this band to me when I was about 13. I've been a fan ever since. I have almost all their albums, and I've seen them in concert too.

Although Styx is not the most rocking band on the planet there are some very cool songs by these guys that have a lot of memories tied to them.

What's Your Opinion?

I think that he is. I know that he started the band, but if the rest of the guys didn't agree with the direction he was taking, he shouldn't have insisted that they do. A band is supposed to work together.
