Sugar-Free Foods I Can't Live Without
As a type 2 diabetic, I have tried a lot of sugar-free foods. Most are awful, lol, but there are some that I love. I am making this lens to share my 10 favorite sugar-free foods. These are the ones that I cannot seem to live without. Please feel free to post comment about your favorites!!!
Why I wrote this lens
I am addicted to food. When I was diagnosed as diabetic, I thought my world was over, that I would never be able to eat the foods that I love. There are so many sugar-free items on the market today. I was suprised at how good these foods tasted compared to the regular ones. I hope you enjoy my top 10 list. I certainly do.
# 10 Starlight Mints
In my job, i talk to a lot of customers and I am always worried about bad breath. I found these mints and I keep a drawer full at all times.
# 9 Ice Pops
On hot summer days, I loved eating fla-vor-ice pops. I can't find these in the stores, but I found them here. Enjoy
# 8 Hershey's Sugar-Free Chocolate Syrup
OK, so I love chocolate milk.
# 7 Sugar-Free Preserves
I love to put jelly on my toast, so I ordered this brand of preserves. To my suprise, they were GREAT !!!!!!!
# 6 'Extra' Gum
When I am not using Starlight Mints, I use Extra gum for all my bad breath fighting needs.
# 5 General Foods International Coffee
I really missed my flavored coffees until I found these. My favorite is vanilla.
# 4 Jelly Beans
These are perfect to cure your craving for something sweet.
# 3 Pudding
I didn't think I missed pudding until my wife was making some for our 5 year old. I wanted some sooooo bad, so the next day, she bought me some sugar-free pudding. Wow, it was like a super-treat.
# 2 Oreos
I LOVE COOKIES......When they came out with sugar-free oreos, I thought all my prayers were answered.
# 1 SPLENDA !!!!!!!!
Of course, Splenda is my #1 choice. I was seriously addicted to iced tea and Splenda allows me to still brew my own and enjoy the taste of sweet tea.
