Guitar Chord Diagrams and Photos
If you are a complete beginner, try practising these chords first, there is a ten second time limit to find them!
D major chord
Bryan Adams songs...
First half of the intro....

This is based on a D chord with left hand fingers moving in and out of Dsus2 and Dsus 4. If you don't know these chords then look at the photo gallery for bigger versions of the diagrams and I will add more photos later. The picture is TAB I generated with Sibelius software. I did the chord graphics myself and added them to the TAB later. I like to do my own chords because they tie in better with the TAB lines than the traditional upright ones!
Second half of the intro

This is based on an A chord with left hand fingers moving in and out of Asus2 and Asus4. If you don't know these chords then look at the photo gallery for bigger versions of the diagrams and I will add more photos later. I hope to get a video camera for my birthday and if I do I will video me playing this for you too!
Basically this can be played fingerstyle with thumb taking the bass notes and i.m.a. fingers playing a treble string each, or it can be played "hybrid picked" with plectrum and fingers. If you are a beginner electric player the simplest option would be to miss the bass notes out and just use a pick in an Up Up Down Up Up Down economy picking fashion. Picking Up through strings 1 and 2 is quite easy when you make one smooth movement of it and the final downstroke on string 3 will send you in the right direction to repeat the pattern!
The rest of the song is fairly straightforward too. I won't do it all here, you have the juicy bit, but you can check out the instructional videos further down or even better you could treat yourself to a Bryan Adams TAB book.....
