My Personal Review About Super Smash Brothers Brawl Wii

Quick History

Super Smash Brothers Brawl for Wii is the best of it's predecessor (Super Smash Brothers Melee) released nine years ago.

Characters

My favorite character is Donkey Kong. They seem to have made him seem weaker and slower. Bowster is even faster than he was in Melee and is still very fun to play with. There are 25 characters to play with and they all have special skills and not so special skills. They all have advantages and disadvantages.

Gameplay

The new game play for Super Smash Brothers Brawl Wii has affected me since I used to play Melee. But I have found a way to take advantage of this. We used to be able to easily drop down from a platform fast, but not anymore. I took advantage of this by pretending like I'm going to jump down and I would get right back up and attack them. On Melee it was very important to throw, but I guess it was too overpowered because they don't seem to be as effective anymore.

Nintendo has added a lot of new items players can use against their opponents; like the final smash ball which gives you a huge amount of advantages against your opponents. In order for it to be fatal you have to choose the right strong character. My favorite part about the final smash ball is that everyone has to fight over it and you are the one that gets to uses it.

The graphics have gotten a lot better since Melee, although sometimes it may remind you of Melee. The characters have gotten better detailing and you'll see awesome graphic effects that would not have been possible with Gamecube when using the final smash ball. There are plenty of good new graphic enhancements and changes made that will let you know you are playing Super Smash Brothers Brawll Wii.

Characters

With 25 characters, the sky is the limit! There are 14 characters that you need to unlock in adventure mode. Some of the old characters in Melee got a major change, whether it was a good or bad change, is up to you. Each character has advantages and disadvantages, ups and downs. It is up to you to find the best moves and when to use them.

Multiplayer is a new feature exclusive only to Super Smash Brothers Brawl Wii. You can challenge other people from around the world to see if you are actually good or if your friends just went easy on you. There are websites where you can share and find friend codes on the internet.

If you don't feel like entering or finding all those friend codes, you can let your Wii do the searching for you.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl Wii is definitely one of the most popular video games on the Wii. It makes an excellent party game.
