Supertramp Rocked the 70s
The Super Sounds of the Seventies would not be the same without the British progressive rock band Supertramp. With a shaky start and a few changes to the band the mid and late 70s brought Supertramp world wide fame. Achieving this status during the greatest music decade ever is an accomplishment that is proof of both greatness and musical genius. Take a look and see for yourself the greatness of the 70's rock band Supertramp.

In the Begining

The 70's British band Supertramp consisted of Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson, Dougie Thomson, Bob Siebenberg and John Helliwell. Their first successful 70's album Crime of the Century was released in September 1974. This album featured the hit singles "Dreamer" and "Bloody Well Right".

Workin' It Out

Supertramp's next album Crisis? What Crisis? was released in November 1975. It is my personal opinion that this album was a complete flop. Mistakes happen, it's how you recover from them that's important and recover they did. In April 1977 they released the album Even in the Quietest Moments that featured the hit "Give a Little Bit".

Breakfast in America by Supertramp

Supertramp kept it going with the release of Breakfast in America released in March 1979. This album featured the amazing singles "The Logical Song", "Take the Long Way Home" and "Goodbye Stranger".

- One of the most underrated bands of the 70s. They had many more hits than what people realize. Such a great band.
