A Brief Biography
The Supreme Master Ching Hai is a modern-day living saint who was born in Au Lac (Vietnam) in the 20th century. She was not a typical child. Raised in a Catholic household, she was exposed to spiritual teachings and was often found reading Buddhist texts in her free time while other children played. It was predicted that she would become enlightened when she reached adulthood.
She has lead and continues to lead a life of service to animals (she is a strong advocate of vegetarianism) and humans- doing much humanitarian work including previous service to the Red Cross.
She now travels around the world lecturing, initiating followers into the Quan Yin Method of Light and Sound meditation that she teaches, and writing books.
