You are going to need to tend to your wounds after the hand to hand combat with throngs of the undead, and you may want to cook a nice T-bone after you work up your appetite - don't forget first aid kits and fire!

You are going to need shelter!

Heading for the Mountains, stay warm and dry while hiding from the forces of Mordor.

Tents and sleeping bags are essential if you are going to survive a nuclear winter or an extended stay away from civilization. Sure it is not as restful as staying at the Holiday Inn, but better then rotting in the gulag!
