Susan Boyle
When She first walked out on the stage of Britain's Got Talent, people made faces. You could tell by the snarls that they assumed this 47 year old woman must be a joke. But Susan Boyle surprised the world with the voice of an angel.
I think there is a lesson here for everyone. Don't ever judge a book by it's cover. Everyone has their own unique beauty. Sometimes it isn't so evident at the surface.....but it is there.
Who is Susan Boyle
Susan is a very average middle aged woman. She is unemployed looking for a job. She has a cat named Pebbles (just like mine). She's never been married and never been kissed.
She said that she has wanted to perform since she was 12 and decided to honor a wish of her Mom by showing off her talent. So she decided to audition for Britain's Got Talent. It's been a blessing to the world that she did!
As she walked out on stage she said, "I'm gonna make that audience Rock!"
And she did!

Talent is not limited to singing, artistry etc... This is where I think many people go wrong.... Talent can be just the smallest of things that another person can blindly over looks. The talent of listening, the talent of generosity, the talent of opening another persons eyes etc...
I believe this lady has more talent than just a lovely voice.
I must say, when I saw this competition entrant online, I was appalled that people were screwing their noses up..even before she sang. So very sad, that people are so small minded. Good God she had enough nerve to stand up in front of hundreds of people.. that in itself deserves respect. I most certainly wouldn't want to do that.. singing or not..LOL!

I was coming over to thank you for re-visiting my lens, but when I saw this lens I was gobsmacked.
What a great piece of work, so accuaret and of course right on the money with the details and explanations.
I heard today that Susan Boyle had been admitted to the Priory Clinic, which isn't so good, but you can't wonder at it after all how would any of us deal with that amount of publicity after living a day to day existance... Makes you wonder if it is really worth putting yourself through it.
Other than that I'm Lovin-it...
