Susan Martin, 2-time NCAA D3 Golf Champion
Ranked #53,633 in Sports & Recreation, #1,168,146 overall
Susan Martin Wins 2nd Straight National Title
Susan shot 73-71-73-77 for a 4-round total of 294. This matched the Division III National Tournament scoring record that Susan set last year when she won the title in 2008.
In 2007, her freshman year, Susan finished 9th in the D-3 National championship and was honored as 2007 Freshman of the Year.
She has one more year of eligibity and she has a lofty goal. She hopes to become only the second NCAA player to win three national individual titles back-to-back-to-back. Ben Crenshaw is the only college player to ever achieve that feat. Good luck next year, Susan!
I am so proud of you!

- This is Coach Pate's last year as head coach of the women's golf team at Methodist. This was her seventh straight national championship. Not only will she be missed by her "girls" but she will be sorely missed by all the family and friends of the team members who have gotten to know her over these past few years.
Have a great life, Coach!
