I have been working for nearly 20 years to help companies integrate environmental thinking into their operations in a way that aligns environmental and business goals. I've helped some of the world's largest companies develop and implement their environmental strategies, and helped small clean-tech start-ups build business plans and markets. Here are some of my favorite resources -- some created by me, most by others -- that can help you learn what's going on and stay in the loop.

Best Sustainable Business Blogs and Sites

GreenBiz.com
I created this site in 2000 and believe it's the ultimate resource on business and the environment. You'll find thousands of articles, tools, case studies, jobs, and more -- all free. Sign up for the free weekly e-newsletter.
Clean Edge
I co-founded this research and publishing company on clean energy and clean technology, including solar, wind, and fuel cells. You can get daily news here on clean-tech developments and sign up for a free monthly e-newsletter.
WorldChanging
This is the leading blog on positive solutions in technology, business, and society, written by 20 or so leading thinkers in the field.
Two Steps Forward
This is my personal blog, offering regular essays on trends and developments in the world of sustainable business, green marketing, and clean technology. The blogroll on this site will lead you to 25 or so other worthy blogs.
Grist Magazine
An online magazine that's the best place to get smart about environmental issues on a daily basis. It offers a daily news feed that's smart and informative, an active blog, and regular columnists. I contribute a monthly business column.
Lisa Gansky on Green Design
There are a lot of sites on green building (see GreenerBuildings.com for my version.) But not many good ones from folks who are in the middle of actually doing it. Check out Lisa's site and recommendations.

Blogs I'm Tracking

There's lots more where these came from. For the complete list of blogs focused on sustainable business and clean technology, check out my blogroll at makower.com.
Cleantech Investing
Rob Day and colleagues have the best intelligence on who's making what bets on clean-tech companies.
Gristmill
Gristmill is always a fun way to see what the enviro community is doing, thinking, and laughing (and anguishing) about.
Treehugger
Treehugger's got the dope on the newest, coolest green products and ideas.
Triple Pundit
The MBAs who collectively write this are full of good insights about where the world of sustainable business is going.
China Watch
The World Resources Institute's download on China and sustainability -- a good perspective of the tail that's wagging the dog, environmentally speaking.
Ideal Bite
The two entrepreneurs who run this call it "a sassier shade of green," and it is.
