Learn About Sweet Pea Flowers

Sweet Pea is an annual climber that bears clusters of fragrant flowers in a variety of colors. When we think of Sweet Pea, we usually picture a pink or lavender flower, but some of the other colors it can be are blue, red and white.

Gardeners love growing Sweet Pea for their vibrant colors and wonderful, unique fragrances in the garden. They provide a cottage-like feel and bring in a bit of that Victorian era to the garden.

The Sweet Pea is actually native to the Mediterranean region between Sicily and Crete.

Here I'd like to share with you some great links about Sweet Pea, different products you can purchase that pertain to Sweet Pea, and how you can grow your own Sweet Pea Flowers.

Learn How to Get an Awesome Flower Display with Sweet Pea in the Summer

Sweet Pea's Climbing Tendencies Offer A Beautiful Display!

Sweet Peas

I think sweet peas are one of the best annual climbing plants for the garden and they can be grown in several different ways to get a superb display of flowers through the summer months. Traditionally sweet peas were sown in the autumn and planted out in early April, but spring sown plants can be planted out into May and will still flower well, albeit slightly later. If you haven't sown any seeds but would like to grow some sweet peas in your garden you can buy young plants from garden centres or a specialist grower at a garden show.
