Sylvester Stallone is Rocky Balboa the Italian Stallion.
There have been six films in the Rocky series..
Rocky release November 1976
Rocky II released June 1979
Rocky III released May 1982
Rocky IV released November 1985
Rocky V released November 1990
Rocky Balboa released December 2006
Sylvester Stallone appears to put heart and soul into these Rocky films, sweating blood and tears in the epic training and fight sequences.
Stallone's performances in all of these films is to my mind rather wooden, but the action sequences take some beating. (literally).
