TAG Heuer Watches

TAG Heuer focuses primarily on chronographs with some less expensive models in each line with non-chronograph features. The lines include Monaco, Carrera, Link, Aquaracer, Kirium and others. Automatic (self-winding) movements and water resistance are the norm, as well as sapphire crystals and sometimes also windows on the back of the watch to view the movement.

Some of the more recently announced models include the Monaco V4 (the movement of which is driven by belts rather than gears); the Carrera Calibre 360 (the first mechanical wrist chronograph to measure and display time to 1/100th of a second); and the Monaco 69 (featuring both a digital chronograph accurate to 1/1000th of a second and a traditional mechanical movement, with a hinged mechanism allowing wearers to flip the watch between its two separate dials)

Carrera

A legendary chronograph

The "Carrera Panamericana" was an epic race that was started in the 1950s and attracted many of the leading drivers of the time. Juan Manuel Fangio, the famous Argentinian driver who was Formula 1 World Champion five times, won the race in 1953. To pay tribute to this unique adventure, in 1963 TAG Heuer launched the Carrera Chronograph that combined refinement with the spirit of sport. It was an immediate success. It has been modernised but still retains its sober elegance. The Carrera perfectly embodies the vibrant memory of the era of "Gentleman drivers."

Kirium

The Kirium range has a clear emphasis on sports excellence. The design of the Quartz Chronograph is generally quite understated - a bold, easy to read face with a selection of practical functions and simple styling. Monaco

Monaco. A prestigious circuit whose original track is a very special experience for drivers. In 1969, in honor of this unique Grand Prix, TAG Heuer launched a chronograph with a new design. Its water-resistant square case - the first in watchmaking history - houses the Chronomatic, the world's first automatic chronograph movement with a microrotor. Steve McQueen had an empathy for this audacious, rebellious watch and in 1970 chose to wear it in the film "Le Mans", dedicated to motor racing. The Monaco has lost none of its originality and still embodies the avant-garde spirit that inspires TAG Heuer.
