Tron: Legacy, is the upcoming 3D sequel to the 1982 Disney classic Tron.
At ShoWest 2009, according to SlashFilm.com, Disney presented the original test footage that premiered at Comic Con with a new logo that just read TRON.
Kosinski has been building up his cast, which includes Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Beau Garrett, as well as Tron veterans Bruce Boxleitner and Jeff Bridges, as well as Beau Garrett, and most recently, supermodel Serinda Swan.
Oscar nominated cinematographer Claudio Miranda is director of photography. Claudio's is most well known for unique stylized shooting in the film 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'.
Shooting began on April 10, 2009. According to Disney, Tron 2.0 isn't due in theaters until 2011. But there is plenty of speculation that the movie will be released earlier.

Tron is a 1982 American science fiction film by Walt Disney Pictures. It stars Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn (and his program counterpart inside the electronic world, Clu), Bruce Boxleitner as Tron and his User Alan Bradley, Cindy Morgan as Yori and Dr. Lora Baines, and Dan Shor as Ram. David Warner plays all three main antagonists: the program Sark, his User Ed Dillinger, and the voice of the Master Control Program. It was written and directed by Steven Lisberger. Tron has a distinctive visual style, as it was one of the first films from a major studio to use computer graphics extensively.
