Tabriz Rugs have a proud heritage going back hundreds if not thousands of years. The quality of Tabriz rugs ranges from some of the best rugs made in Iran on down to Bazaar quality. I have had the chance compare Tabriz rugs that range from less than 30 raj up to 110 raj. At the high end the best of the 110 raj Tabriz rugs are as good as he best of Isfahan. In my own limited experience Tabriz equal the best technically but if anything lack the emphasis on design.
