The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association MOFGA, formed in 1971, is the oldest and largest state organic organization in the country.

The purpose of the Association is to help farmers and gardeners grow organic food, protect the environment, recycle natural resources, increase local food production, support rural communities, and illuminate for consumers the connection between healthful food and environmentally sound growing practices.

MOFGA's Farm Apprenticeship program connects people wanting to learn organic farming with experienced farmers willing to share their expertise. The typical arrangement involves an exchange of labor for room, board, a stipend, and informal, intensive training and experience in farming.

Perseverance Productions has been asked to film, photograph and edit a documentary style piece which will be used to promote and offer as a review of what was covered during the 2008 Farm Apprentice Program Workshops.

What began as a casual sideproject for Kingsbury, The Perfect Tree has developed from a simple illustrated childrens book to Perseverance Productions first semi-animated production.
The vision is to create what we have come to call a Digital Book. By creating fully hand illustrated charaters, scenes and hand selected frames and editing, timelapsing and manipulating them in post, the product will have an animated appearance with a storybook layout and design.
We have begun by collecting photographs of the realife characters and landscapes in the book and drafting them first on paper then in Adobe Photoshop. We then bring them into Motion and create multiple layers and movements bring the images to life!

Think-Negative: AIDS Awareness/HIV Prevention is a nonprofit organization which strives to spread AIDS awareness and promote HIV Prevention through the talents of local young people!

Teaming up with Perseverance Productions, Think-N is

organizing a 2nd Annual Fund raising Season. All proceeds will be donated to Eastern Maine AIDS Network. The calender is still being constructed, so stay tuned for more. Until then, check out whats going on now!
