Jesus traveled all over the world teaching people the right way to live. He could perform miracles, like healing sick people and making the blind see. These weren't just magic tricks; they were used to show people that he truly spoke for the one and only God.

People came from all over to hear Jesus speak. He was known to be a very wise man, and many people were curious about him. In every tiny village or big city, where Jesus went, many people followed.

One day, Jesus was in a city preaching. As usual, a huge crowd came to hear him speak. Many people brought others who were blind or sick, hoping Jesus would heal them. There were also some people who brought their children to Jesus, so that he could bless them and pray for them.

A woman came running to the place where Jesus was preaching, bringing her two small children with her. The kids were excited as well to see this man they had heard so much about. Jesus stood surrounded by people, and his disciples (that means students) stood by his side listening.

The woman ran up to Jesus with her kids and said, "Jesus, we have come to hear you speak of the Lord. I have also brought along my two children. I would like you to bless them so that they might lead the right kind of life, and go to Heaven one day."

"Ahem!" Said one of the disciples. "Jesus is too busy healing the sick and helping the blind to see to mess around with your little kids. I'm sorry, ma'am, but Jesus doesn't have time right now."

Jesus heard this and he said to the disciple, "Wait. Bring the children to me."

"But, Jesus," said the disciple, "we have more places to go and people to see. Surely you don't have time for children?"

Jesus said, "You must always let children speak with me. Do not ever turn away a child who wants to see me."

Then, Jesus took the kids and talked with them for a long time. He loved children, and he enjoyed talking with them. More children came up to him, and he talked to them all.

After a while, Jesus took one of the children and put him right in the middle of the square where everyone could see him. "Look at this child," he said. "You must become like a child in your heart to enter Heaven. This means that you must be innocent and humble. Otherwise you cannot get into the Kingdom of Heaven. And, you must always take care of your children, because they are also His children. Jesus was loved and followed by many, many people. People would come from miles away just to see him and to hear him speak and they would often follow him wherever he went.

When Jesus and his disciples crossed the Sea of Galilee in a boat, he saw that there were thousands of people waiting for him on the other side, they were his followers.

Jesus knew that these people needed someone to lead them, someone they could follow and teach them about the Kingdom of God and he loves to help the people and teach them what they wanted to know.

As Jesus spoke to the people and taught them about God, the time passed very quickly and it was getting dark, so the disciples told Jesus that maybe he should send the people away into the villages to get some food and spend the night but Jesus did not want to send them away, he wanted them to stay and eat with him.

The disciples told Jesus that there was not enough food to feed all the people, in fact, there was not enough food for even one tenth of them and they did not have the money to buy enough bread for them.

One of the disciples, Andrew, told Jesus there was a young boy in the crowd with five loaves of bread and two small fish, the boy was happy to give Jesus the food he had brought.

Jesus took the bread and the fish and gave thanks to God for it, he then began to pass the bread out to the crowd, it did not dissapear, in fact, it kept on coming, the bread multiplied and multiplied.

He did the same with the fish, it multiplied and multiplied and there was mroe than enough food to feed everyone.

When everyone had eaten, Jesus told the disciples to pick up all the remaining food so that it would not be wasted and do you know how much food was left? There were twelve baskets full of bread and fish left and it started from just five loaves of bread and two small fish.

Jesus turned five loaves of bread and two small fish into enough food to feed five thousand people and it was all because of the power of God, the people knew then that Jesus was truly a saviour from God.
