Hi everyone.
It´s magical, to sit here halfway across the world and read these names of my old classmates. Sends shivers all through me. I´m sure many of you
react the same way. So many of you have molded and inspired me, and been a part of my life ever since. Those were such formative years, 1954 to 1958. Not just the dating and all the first-first experiences, the crushes and kisses, the dances, cars, friendships and betrayals, the need for acceptance, the manipulations and struggles to manifest oneself in a group - but also the whole social structure around Tam Hi. How people, individuals and groups weave and sway and effect each other. Those are lessons I've drawn on all my life. A lot of truths were discovered about myself and about others in those four years. I think about it pretty much every day in one way or another. It has certainly effected all aspects of my life and work. I realize too how progressive an institution Tam Hi was. The patience and human understanding of

About JimWalton58

My name is Jim Walton, but most of you will probably not remember me from high school. Here is a picture of my wife Sun (pronounced Soon) and I from Dec. 2004.

Perhaps the most memorable thing I did was to set off a fire cracker in speach class.

I did play trombone in the band, and I passed out towels to the swim team for awhile, but other than that I was pretty invisible.

Not sure if I'm the youngest member in the class, but I was still sixteen when we graduated.

I was somewhat of a nerd at the time, pocket protector and all. I guess that hasn't changed a lot, but I'm an older and wiser nerd now.

I live in Korea, so my attendance at the reunion is up for question right now, but it is definitely on my list of things to do. So, hopefully I'll see you all there.
