Residents in the borough have an unprecedented choice of four regional newspapers three of which are headquartered within the borough.- *The Republican & Herald and Hazleton Standard Speaker both owned by Shamrock Communications Inc. occupy a single office at 133 W. Broad Street and both print regular news from the community.
- *The Lehighton Times News also maintains a loyal readership in the community and maintains an office at 200 E. Broad Street
- *The Morning Call, a large regional newspaper based in Allentown, PA, and regional office in Lehighton, PA
