Keep your Tat

Some basic information about your new tattoo or body piercing.

Summer time art work

I see people everyday who have paid good money on their new tattoo and wonder if they were told the best way to keep it looking good.
A big mistake I hear people doing is going in the water before the tat is healed.
Neosporine has a tendency to fade the color don't use it.
Keep the tat moist using tattoo goo or an antibacterial ointment.
Be sure to keep the tat covered with a patch the first week don't let your clothing rub the tat.
When you go to take off the patch don't pull it if it is stuck, get in the shower and let the water roll the patch off. Don't let the water hit directly on the tat.
Body piercings need to be kept clean be sure to keep them clean and watch for redness or soreness again stay out of the swimming pools and lakes until it is completely healed.
