Tavi, the little fashion wonder.
Someone had asked if I heard of the "Style Rookie". No, I hadn't. Well now of course I was curious. As soon as I started looking at her blog I was fascinated. I had to find out more. If you haven't heard of her yet, get to know her here.
Tavi Gevinson is a young fashion blogger from the suburbs of Chicago. Very young. She started when she was 12 years old and is now 16 (birthday is 4/21). She's a writer, photographer, model, creative director, and stylist all in one. Tavi's been in magazines, including Love, Pop, and Teen Vogue, and become a front row regular at fashion shows. The most famous of designers know who she is. Incredible.
(Interview Magazine refers to her as Tavi Williams, though I'm not sure why. Perhaps when she first started blogging she didn't want to reveal her real name?)
