I love a Good Cry Movie

There is nothing like a tear jerker movie. I have always been a very sensitive person. It is not unusual for me to start crying while watching a romantic movie. My husband has been teasing me for years, but I think he secretly appreciates my sensitivity.

Sometimes you are just in the mood to curl up with a good tear jerker. Here is my collection of some of my favorite tear jerkers.

Nights in Rondanthe - My most resent Tear Jerker

When I first put in this DVD I was really just expecting another romance movie just like everything else that was ever made. I thought it would probably be predictable, but since I'm a fan of Richard Gere I figured I would go a head and check it out.

This movie was far from predictable. I don't want to reveal much more only that you will need to have a box of tissues handy when watching this movie.

Nights in Rodanthe - Folk Tale

The stars of Unfaithful rekindle their screen chemistry in this rich tale of hearts awakenings from the bestseller by Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Message in a Bottle). Richard Gere is Paul, a surgeon who long ago unwittingly traded career for family. Diane Lane is Adrienne, a devoted mother trying to move on after her husbands infidelity and struggling with his desire to return to their marriage. At a remote inn on the Outer Banks, both separately expect to do some serious soul-searching. But an approaching storm forces each to turn to the other for strength, setting the stage for a life-resonating romance.

No, I don't like sad movies.

sandyspider says:

Yes, as long as it seems real and not sappy.

Yes! We all need a good cry once in a while!

roysumit says:

I like; yes, if it's sensitive and realistic. Although I may not cry but certainly it gets lump on my throat.

lou16 says:

When I'm in the right mood - definately. Some days though I just need lots of action instead!!

clouda9 says:

Absolutely! Especially healing if I needed the good cry in the first place.

abender says:

I hate to admit it, but I am a sucker for a good tear jerker. Hallmark Hall of Fame movies suck me in every time. And, yes, I cry at the end of every one (and with the commercials).

Jewelsofawe says:

Yes, I love movies that are can touch my emotions, but I do like a good action movie too.

"The Notebook" is surely one of my favorites. I love Tear Jerker Movies because I am sensitive and emotional. Of late I am trying to distinguish between being 'sensitive' and being 'emotional'. Because these two are different perceptions of mind but often times gets blurred. Can you throw some light on it? Five stars for your page.
