- I agree with eccles1. I believe that kids think that running away from to be an adventure. I know for a fact it is just the opposite. It is living by your wits by the minutes and not days. It is daydreaming about the simplest food that you used to take for granted but cannot get because of no money.
I think as a parent that we have got to believe that the worst can happen so that we can give are sons or daughters some structure and guidance to go by.
I also do not think of anything of asking for help. There are some great websites and articles out there. Here is a website that I found really interesting and had some very solid ideas to go on. http://www.runawaychild.com

- so many kids runaway from home thinking it's better and safe out there! and not all end up dead,raped or doing things they never thought they would do but many do..too sad
